I just don't think it's the kinda change liberals thought they were going to get!
Crisis mode... that's how you would have to describe the Democrat political machine at this time... FULL crisis mode! They were out in full force today, doing as much damage control as possible, trying to play down the results of yesterday's political bloodbath. Harry Reid today, looked as if his best friend had died... very stoic looking... he knows it's over.
On Larry King, some DemoHack sez: This wasn't a referendum on Obama, and of all people, Michael Steele agreed with him. Michael, you just don't get it, do ya? Like so many other moderate Republicans, you just haven't gotten the message. Yes, it WAS a referendum on Obama and his policies, it was an absolute rejection of the liberal leadership in Washington. For these "moderate" republicans to still be out there trying to cow tow to the liberals, going along to get along, trying to be fair minded and impartial, and show they can agree with liberals and work together... that shit is going to stop, or the next election may be a referendum on your moderate ass!
Tomorrow, conservatives plan to rally on the steps of the Capitol to lobby congress regarding this health care monstrosity. Similar protests will be held at statehouses across America, and the voice of the people WILL be heard. I believe this will be the death nail in the coffin of ObamaCare, and next up will be Cap-n-trade. Obama says he is just getting started, well bring it on buddy! We're ready for it! Let's trot out every one of the liberals tired 30-year-old socialist ideas, and defeat them one by one! In the meantime, let us also silence the voices of the republican establishment who thinks the tea party people are "unsophisticated" and represent a "fringe" of the party. People like John McCain and Micheal Steele, your days are numbered if you're not boarding the train, because our days of taking your advice and listening to what you think is best, are over.
Change is coming alright, BIG fucking change!
