We live in a nation where, if a problem doesn't have a moderate solution, we just ignore it.
We don't have the balls for radical solutions--that's not in our DNA anymore.

True. We have our own "continent of war", or more exactly a country created through war and following its completion a history of more war. But that's not point. The cultural foundation is mainly Western European. Our language, our primary religions, our institutions generally, including our universities, are inherited from Western Europe or founded on European models.

Turn back to God, discipline the children when young, and 99.9% of all that goes away! :awesome:

In the United States, guns are the leading cause of death for our children.

It’s a disturbing and sobering fact, isn’t it? Why do you wish to diminish the tragedy of that with your diversionary questions?
