Kids are sheltered compared to what nature intended. I see this as a big flaw in social engineering. The world is becoming more and more codependent with government. No job? join the military. Confused or misunderstood? mutilate your body and become part of a group.
Youth are being programed to believe they are in charge of their future through freewill. Kids need to be told to tie their shoes and pull up their pants. Discipline is love to a developing mind. Do what you want means I don't care.
