Yeah I re read it. No I was not referring to the person. I merely misread it. The thing is that she ALREADY has a white girl's hair. Afro would be her natural hairdo.

I bolded what my point was in what I wrote. "Woke" is realizing that there is something wrong with making it appear white, whether someone does it because they think it is "prettier"... That particular thing is a bit "anti-Woke"...

From what I gather, the movie is not nearly as "woke" as folks think, however the acting leaves a bit to be desired though the singing is fantastic.. (except the "Scuttlebutt" song, which should never be sung by anyone)...
