No one works for the govt. This unprecedented effort to take out a political rival will falls short.

That's not entirely a bad thing but I think that's more hope on your part than anything else.

TOO LATE FOR ANYTHING LIKE THAT NOW! THE ONLY RESTITUTION NOW IS TO CONVICT DONALD TRUMP AND HAVE HIM PAY FOR HIS CRIMES LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE WHO BREAKS THE LAW- BY GOING STRAIGHT TO JAIL!

This will be a great lesson in life for Donald Trump, and all of his ASS-KISSERS who lead him on to carry out these crimes.

Didn’t think your question was about “getting Trump,” but rather regarding questions of how accountability should be applied against former Presidents accused of breaking the law

To think it is all about just “getting Trump” you are basically saying Trump is above the law, that any mere inquiry into him even possibly violating the law is always just politically motivated

whichever Republican beats Biden in 2024 should, and probably will, pardon Trump, everyone convicted for political reasons connected with Trump's administration, everyone convicted for actions on January 6....AND Biden, Pelosi, Schumer and the demmycrats in Congress for fucking over the country over the last six years.......that should take care of everything......(except the bribes Biden accepted while VP)......

Such a deal would be an admission by Xi's Biden regime that all of the witch hunts conducted both directly by Merrick Himmler and by Mob punk Smith were abuse of power to tamper with elections.

Personally, I think Smith is so corrupt that he would actually do it - clearly he believes that no law applies to him, that he can end the first amendment at will.
