No one "paused" counting. Every election has been like this. Every. Single. Election.

Drink up. He's parroting Fox talking points about 'damages'. That's probably the stupidest argument trump's second rate legal team is trying to make.

Plotting a murder that doesn't take place is still conspiracy to commit murder.

In trump's case, he paid lower taxes by lowballing appraisals, and got lower interest rates by inflating appraisals. It could easily be argued that the hundreds of thousands in interest that the lenders didn't get because of the lies, is indeed 'damages'.
Ivanka will be forced to tell the truth under oath. She was on the board of Signature Bank, and pushed through loans to the trump criminal enterprise.
