TRUMP: “I will also make it a personal mission to completely eradicate...”

How will we help eradicate veterans' homelessness problem?

An excellent start would be to close the borders, round up and deport as many illegal aliens as we can, defund the stupid sanctuary cities and divert all those funds to veteran's housing and healthcare.

No, a democracy with a few social programs does not mean you live under socialism. You definately didn't get anything out of paying a school tax because you are a fucking moron.

Look at the fucking ignorant cunts that thanked this post!

Moron? You think I'm stupid? You're a pathetic left wing buffoon, you have no room to talk.

The private sector is capitalism.
The public sector is socialism.

Do you believe, Arby,
that the corporate oligarchs are going to take care of the homeless veterans
or will the government have to do it [socialism]?

A few corporate oligarchs may, but not enough.

I personally know quite a few of them. Many work 2-3 jobs paying taxes they will never recieve any credit for. I open up to them and once they realize I'm not one who wants to deport them they are the kindest and most hard working people I have ever met. I have been to their homes, I have held their 3 year old children in my arms and seen the smiles on their faces, I have employed them to work on a couple properties and seen the quality of work. When I speak they listen intently knowing I'm not feeding them bullshit and care. If I needed something I know a half dozen that would be at my doorstep in no time wanting to help. I have on more than one occasion had to force them to take money for a simple task they don't want to be paid for. I can't go online and provide links for any of that but damn sure know it is true.

Sure, there are some that are not the most stand up individuals but the poor woman with her malnourished child standing at our border asking for help should be provided for. Both will be eternally grateful and make this country a better place.

I have employed them...

You should be locked up, you pathetic imbecile! One post you claim employers should be arrested for employing illegals, the next you say you employ illegals. Talk about a fucking moron.

No question about that, many of them are petrified. It takes quite awhile to gain their trust because of that ingrained fear but once you have it, it's heartwarming. I don't think I know any of them that are receiving any sort of state or federal welfare.
So how are they living and providing for their families? Not on what you're paying them under the table...I'm asking sincerely...

I never said employers should be arrested for employing undocumented workers. On the contrary, I support them.

About 12-15 people living in a relatively small 2 bedroom house is a start. Even if their income is small, with 6-10 wage earners under one roof can pay the bills. Many of them save every dime they make and send as much as they can back to their families in central America.

And is that legal? I don't believe so....And so they aren't providing properly for their families...are they driving illegally? Without insurance? How are they providing healthcare for these 12-15 people? There's a long list of concerns, don't you agree?
And with winter coming, what will they do? That is a huge problem here....

Can we come up with a better term than "illegals" for refugees just trying to survive?

Whether we're sympathetic with them or not,
people are not morally obligated by laws in their fight to survive.

Survival is a genetic instinct.
They don't lose their moral ground until they repeat the mistake of their parents
and have offspring that they can't afford.

That's the more egregious transgression in my view.

Why would it be illegal? They aren't living in squalor and are rather happy. A couple drive and I'm sure do so legally. Many get picked up for work. Healthcare? That's funny, we have tens of millions of US citizens with no healthcare how do they survive? They easily survive in winter, been doing it for years, these aren't shacks they are living in.

But they're not here legally...the label isn't that important. is it? Would undocumented be better?
Is Boston without issue when it comes to undocumented residents?

That is why I use "undocumented". Nobody is illegal.

Are you unaware that there are housing regulations? If you're positive they're insured, then that would be find...
If they can afford a car and insurance, they can surely afford a larger residence...
US citizens without healthcare abuse the system...so is that what they are doing as well?
How do they "easily survive" in the winter? This isn't just a questions about housing, you know... US citizens are struggling these days...How is it possible that undocumented workers are not...especially if they are sending money home as you say...? Unless they're breaking laws...many laws....
How do you support that?

According to local news, it is not,
but without being told by locals news, I wouldn't know.

I see no impact whatsoever on my personal life,
but admittedly, I'm at home in my own house
more than I ever was at any other period in my life.

Immigration is another one of those very important[apparently] issues,
much like foreign affairs and the environment,
that doesn't rank high among my priorities when I vote.

I was born in what was supposed to FDRs fourth term if he had completed it,
and I'm still focused on FDR Democratic issues, it would seem.
We all care about what we care about, I guess.

I understand...it would be more of a priority if you or your family were directly impacted...
I won't give anecdotal examples...but for many, it is a concern...and a priority...

Yes, undocumented is more accurate. Is anyone who does something illegal an "Illegal"? Is Trump an illegal?

No...entering the country illegally and continuing to violate rules and regulations in this country does imply illegal, however...
Something which you seem to enthusiastically support, btw...

These people don't live in the city, they are out in the country and I don't think there are any housing regulations stipulating how many can live together. When you live in the country firewood is pretty cheap (as a matter of fact one I know sells it). They are pretty damn sure not to break laws knowing that if they do and are caught what happens. There are many small country towns in Delaware (I'm not in Delaware but pretty close) where I would guess 60-70 percent of the population is Hispanic. Small grocery stores selling primarily hispanic foods, great little hispanic restaurants with fantastic dishes. How many are undocumented or here illegally I don't know. Many I'm sure are US citizens, many have green cards, many are undocumented and here illegally. They all help one another and get by just fine. These are not places you find Latino gangs like Trump warns you about and may find in LA, they are god fearing people trying to make a living and raise their children. You want criminals you need to go to any major city and that is where you find them, and they are rarely Hispanic.

it's 30 degrees here...kids will come to school without coats and proper attire and supplies today...no breakfast and maybe no dinner last night...
That should never happen...We sure do have our hands full....
