3.2% inflation

What was the unemployment rate the day Trump left office?

Irrelevant. You too want to cherry-pick just the lockdown for Chinese Disease as your proof.

If you leave out the anomaly of the national lockdown, Trump's unemployment / employment numbers are as good or better than Biden's.

My question is, How much better would the economy be doing if Biden wasn't fucking things up like he is?

The biggest blunder Biden has made is spending somewhere around $2 trillion on trying to shift the US to a "Green" economy. Given the disaster that's becoming, Biden's economy sucks like a Kirby vacuum cleaner. Biden has produced the worst economy since Carter and 3 out of 4 Americans agree with that.

That's great for you (and other home owners who have experienced similar) but not so great for those trying to get into the market. Hence why so many people are unhappy and consumer confidence is dropping.

I understand and it is a problem. New people cant move here unless they inherited a lot of money, it is changing the character of the area. I hate it for that reason. My kids, who will inherit very little, wont be able to move here.

I am considering cashing out in a few years and moving away, I hate the entitled nature of the newcomers.

Sorry that the economy is not going your way.

You're not sorry, you're pathetic. If the economy was going "my way" it'd be doing a shitload better than it is with Biden fucking things up.

Reagan (R) - Recession
Bush Sr. (R) - Recession
Clinton (D) - No Recession
Bush Jr. (R) - Recession (worst in history)
Obama -(D) - No recession
Trump - (R) - Recession
Biden - (D) - No Recession yet.

Forget it, the MAGA have come up with new variables to measure the economy, during the Obama recovery it was Labor Participation Rate, and now they’ve added another to counter any signs of economic improvement

We are going to use the same metrics they used during the Trump regime: consumer price index, gross domestic product, and BLS nonfarm unemployment rate.

Goal post moving rejected.

Anecdote isn't evidence.

It backs the point the author makes and the data supports, that housing inflation is making home ownership (and even renting for some) even more difficult and why consumer confidence is falling even after good 3rd qtr economic data.

You left out Nixon, Eisenhower, and Hebert Hoover

Trump left office as the worst jobs President in modern history, and having helped lay the groundwork for global inflation, which started just prior to Biden actually being inaugurated.

Trump was an economic disaster as President. Considering what he inherited - Biden hasn't done too bad.

If Trump had stayed in office and had the exact same numbers they'd be praising him.

Now, subtract the average inflation rate from the average GDP growth rate and you get whether the economy grew or shrank by President.
