Climate Changers - VOLCANIC eruption expected in ICELAND - 800 earthquakes overnight

Bullshit.

For example, Mt Tambura Indonesia blew in 1815, and the following year was known as the Year without a Summer. A similar eruption would devastate crops and cause mass starvation.

And scientists theorize that volcanoes caused the Little Ice Age. And ...

"The Toba eruption was a supervolcano eruption that occurred around 74,000 years ago during the Late Pleistocene[1] at the site of present-day Lake Toba in Sumatra, Indonesia. It is one of the largest known explosive eruptions in the Earth's history. The Toba catastrophe theory holds that this event caused a severe global volcanic winter of six to ten years and contributed to a 1,000-year-long cooling episode, ."

The phrase 'Year without a Summer" was a buzzphrase created by the press (some thing don't change!).
Spring and summer arrived as usual. The volcano didn't change the declination.
Temperatures recorded in various locations in England in summer were even usual, but with occasional periods of rain that lasted longer than usual, and even frosts at night in June that were unusual. This caused some crops to fail, particularly in Ireland (potato plants can be damaged by over watering).

This weather did NOT occur at the same time Mt Tambura blew up (Apr of 1815) but in the completely different year and time of year (mid Jun to early July of 1816).

Yeah, I know everyone like to blame Mt Tambura for the lousy weather in 1816 in England, but that's just speculation and too much of it doesn't add up. For one thing, neither England nor the North Sea are downwind of Mt Tambura, and other parts of the world were not affected (except parts of India).

There is no theory of science about past unobserved events.
Any scientist spewing theories about past unobserved events is spewing religion, not science.

Yes, you keep avoiding the fact that volcanoes can affect the weather. Why? ... no profit for you Algorians.

The problem is you are stupid.

No one has denied a big eruption can affect weather. Hawaiians for over a hundred years would tell you that.

You just discovered this buy reading an article this week and conflate it with CLimate Change, and they are not the same thing.

Just because we can do nothing about natural disasters (Volcanic eruptions, etc) DOES NOT mean we can do nothing about man made climate change, inputs.

You ARE NOT making any point by saying 'hey volcanoes', but since you are stupid and have no comprehension of science you think it is a point.

True, but ...

"Is a repeat of the 2010 air travel chaos on the cards again?

A repeat is unlikely. That eruption was at the unconnected volcano at Eyjafjallajökul in southern Iceland and involved a sticky type of magma. It shot huge amounts of ash into the atmosphere, forcing the cancellation of 100,000 flights and leaving more than 10 million travellers stranded."
Aircraft cannot travel through or near a volcanic ash cloud (even one from a lava or shield style volcano).
Although the volcano is in southern Iceland, it is right on the usual path for aircraft crossing the Atlantic from England. They had to go around it. This puts the flight beyond the range of some of the aircraft, cancelling numerous flights. It also affected numerous westbound flights departing Paris and flights arriving from the States.

That eruption wasn't particularly large, it was just in the wrongest possible place for air travel across the Atlantic.

Similar things happen to flights to or through Hawaii when one of their volcanoes starts acting up.

Could be still evolving, who knows, but if so it's in a very state of evolving from what it was before the ice age. Anyway, here you are again replying to a comment and question by asking a question..

'Could still be evolving, who knows'???????

Apparently you can't tell or define what 'planet evolving' even IS.

What year did the planet stop evolving?

When did it start 'evolving'? Just what DOES 'planet evolving' even mean???

Did Earth have sex with another planet and little child planets are running around? Did we somehow not notice this momentous event?

No, I only said there aren't any threatened volcanic eruptions that will affect man made climate change except in a very temporary way. As for the planet, I only said it stopped evolving a long time ago in the dramatic way it was developing before the ice age.

Climate cannot change. Man made? What? A climate that cannot change??
How do you know what happened before the so-called 'ice age'? How do you know there WAS an so-called 'ice age'?

Don't say 'science'. Science has no theories about past unobserved events. They are not falsifiable. No one has a time machine to go back and see what actually happened.

Well, yeah, massive eruptions for extended periods when the planet was in an evolving state are one thing. We've been out of that evolving state for a little while. The eruptions coming in Iceland, if they do, are not expected to have more than a temporary
effect on weather. I don't know what your point it is about volcanoes/climate change anyway. Do you?

No he doesn’t. The dumbfuck finds an article he thinks supports his ignorance, either doesn’t read it or comprehend it and posts it anyway.

Totally fucking clueless.

It's the same five year old's attitude of climate-change-deniers everywhere. Having no special science expertise of his own he nevertheless likes the science about volcanoes and early-earth so that's "good science". He doesn't like the science about climate change so that's "bad science".

Run off, Bill. I’ve seen your other posts.

You’re out of your league. As is Bigdog.

^^^^
Dickless Domer thinks he can control the planet's weather. :palm:

By how many degrees Kelvin have you changed it so far?

Krakatoa caused climate changes for more than a century after it detonated.

There was a lasting effect on the world’s climate, too: aerosols emitted into the atmosphere by the blast led global air temperatures to drop by as much as 2.2 degrees Fahrenheit (1.2 degrees Celsius). According to a 2006 article in the journal Nature, the volcano caused oceans to cool for as much as a century, offsetting the effect of human activity on ocean temperatures.

A major volcanic eruption, particularly a super-volcano eruption would toss the whole of the Gorebal Warming religion right out the window.

It is 100% fact that future generations will look at this time as one where humans were careless, irresponsible and thoughtless when it came to protecting the only home any of us have.

OK. Too bad none of us will be alive to see if your prediction comes true.
