Armed homeowner who defended family in driveway shoot-out says he's been stripped of

RB, I am all for gun safety and education!

I wish that was what the NRA stands for, but that is such a small fraction of what the NRA actually is, I believe you are intentionally ignoring the overall intentions of the NRA and missing the point!

That's OK, we can all be guilty of being a bit tunnel-visioned!

Just make sure what you are investing in! Know the whole story!

I tried my best to provide you with some information that should help!

You are dead wrong. I'd be willing to bet you haven't been to a gun club. You accuse the general membership of the stupidity of a few at the top.
I was a certified firearm instructor for 20 years. I know what goes on, who does what and how. The membership is all for gun safety and education!

I believe all of that.
You're defending an organization, Arby, that was once what you wanted it to be
but is now a dangerous right wing nutjob group.

People have a right to join right wing nutjob groups--right to assemble, after all--
but why one which pretends to be something else?

You guys can probably use a legitimate organization that's what the NRA used to be.

Like I said, the grassroots membership are good people. My gun club is a fine example.

My son is a firearms instructor. He is a paramedic on a SWAT team. He is the best shooter on his SWAT team and he isn't a cop.. He is taking the police academy in January so he can legally carry a weapon on SWAT calls. Having police certification will allow him to become an arson investigator. . Insurance companies pay big bucks to arson investigators.

Ah, so loudmouth pussy it is.

Shocked, I say! Shocked!

PS, dumbfuck, proper grammar is “the difference between you and me”. You’re ignorant there as well as the law.

if you're too low IQ that all you can do is believe in a 'this or that' game, have fun playing with yourself. i'll continue to be smarter than you could ever hope to be.

Was his weapon taken away from him? NO!

is that relevant? the point of the OP is that a man was forced to defend his family OUTSIDE of his home. How dare he? so in order to punish a citizen for defending himself in public, making the city look unsafe, he had his legal ability to defend himself and his family taken away. a big fuck you from the government.

The NRA used to be a useful group for education, training, hunting info, etc. Then at some point it made a far right turn and became a lobbying arm of both the RNC and the makers of firearms. Mr. Owl used to belong; it was a condition of his membership in the shooting range club he joined. So I read the magazines (American Hunter) when they came. They still present educational stuff, but it is also heavy on the political shit. The also donate heavily to (R) candidates. The magazine does make good bird cage bottom linings, though. Nice heavy moisture-resistant paper stock. :rofl2:

i'm not surprised that you aren't capable of seeing the reasons why the NRA became the entity that they have, and this is coming from someone who seriously dislikes the NRA.

God never taught him grammar, did he, fucktard.

Your god taught you how to hate and judge, though, didn’t he?

whereas you were taught how to hate and judge from your piece of shit parents, of course.

In a public forum, you would never be able to match me in grammar, vocabulary, or anything else related to english, you retarded moron.

More $$ to be had in lobbying for the arms makers and scaring the poor little gun-humpers that mean old Democrats gonna take their preciouses away.

In addition to mapping out their national strategy, NRA leaders can also be heard describing the organization's more activist members in surprisingly harsh terms, deriding them as "hillbillies" and "fruitcakes" who might go off script after Columbine and embarrass them.

"You know, the other problem is holding a member meeting without an exhibit hall. The people you are most likely to get in that member meeting without an exhibit hall are the nuts," says LaPierre.

"Made that point earlier. I agree," says Makris. "The fruitcakes are going to show up."

Says Hammer: "If you pull down the exhibit hall, that's not going to leave anything for the media except the members meeting, and you're going to have the wackos ... with all kinds of crazy resolutions, with all kinds of, of dressing like a bunch of hillbillies and idiots. And, and it's gonna, it's gonna be the worst thing you can imagine."

It's your money! Give it to the NRA all you want, or not.

And you are right, I have never attended a gun club. Guns are just a minor hobby for me. I hardly ever shoot anymore.

And Deer Hunting got to be so expensive here in Texas, i have pretty much given it up!

I recently purchased a new 357 and a 9MM that I haven't even fired once yet. So I would like to go to the indoor range and try them out!

Maybe this week!

“The difference between you and I” is shitty grammar, bitch. Own it.

Nope. Wrong again. Still. Always.

Lots of gun restrictions have been tested and found constitutionally sound.

You’re just knee jerk stupid.

The plain language of the Constitution is clear.

That tyrants flagrantly violate the law of the land is irrelevant to the fact of the amendment.

An armed citizenry is an impediment to the establishment of tyranny. Hence, your fear and loathing of the free and armed populace. You know that all the federal troops in the nation cannot prevail over the armed citizenry - 75 million strong with some 500 million firearms. The largest standing army on earth. Your vainglorious plots to establish a totalitarian dictatorship are thwarted by the reality of this.
