Why does anyone consider it some type of big virtue to 'claim' to have never taken the POTUS pay check, while taking in all sorts of other money, when that is literally the only thing the Constitution allows them to take?
it would be like Elon Musk asking for applause for not taking a pay check, when his other sources of income (stock options) pays him multiples more than any pay check ever would and gets him better tax treatment.
