Nothing was "proven." The Trump supporters said it was not extortion but Trump was just concerned about corruption. The Trump opponents asked why he wanted Biden investigated and that bringing up what the U. S. was doing for Ukraine and asking for an investigation was not mere coincidence.

You did not debunk anything. You think Zelensky is going to accuse the U. S. president of extortion when he is depending on U. S. funding? On the other hand, everybody knows Trump is a notorious liar and would willingly lie about the issue.

That is a leftist conspiracy theory. I debunked everything. Even the Senate investigation failed to prove there was blackmail.
On the other hand, Biden bragged about Blackmailing war torn Ukraine.
No conspiracy theory is involved. The public watched the hearings and read the transcript of the call so they knew exactly was was said. The foreign policy officials involved testified they believed the money was being given on condition.
You still haven't explained why Trump wanted Biden investigated.

I already did earlier in the thread. The majority of the American people wanted to know why it was worth a billion dollars to Biden to fire an unknow prosecutor. To risk the fall of Ukraine over an unknown prosecutor.
They also wanted to know why Burisma hired a known junkie, Hunter, who was discharged from the Navy in 2014 for using cocaine.
That is subjective. That is mere opinion.
I watched much of the testimony, too. There was nothing inappropriate about the phone call.

Little Reptile. I have been telling Biden has dementia for months now. He dementia is accelerating. Have you noticed he can't even host a foreign leader without having note cards or a teleprompter? He sits with note cards in his lap for even the most simple tasks. That is a relatively recent occurrence. At times the photographers have photographed the cards and they told him to do basic simple things that he should remember to do without prompting. Dement tends to start off slower then speed up. That is what is happening to Biden now his dementia is speeding up. I'm not lying to you. You can go and look it up for yourself. A little lizard calling someone a liar does not make them a liar. You are using projection because I think you know Biden is senile and it scares you because America can see it too.

Little reptile CNN and MSNBS told you the Fake Russian Dossier was real and that Hunter's laptop was Russia disinformation. And Joe told you Hunter's laptop was Russian disinformation and he knew NOTHING about Hunter's business dealing. My point, Flash, is that being a potential candidate does not mean you should be shielded from an investigation by anyone.
Why do think Biden deserved to be shielded?
Putin and Trump are buddies. Putin knows Trump is like him, so he does have trust issues with him. Daffy says Putin is a great leader and a genius. When Trump met with Putin he did not allow a transcriber to be in the room and he did not have an American translator in either. Trump made his admiration of dictators clear. You have no idea who Trump is or how dangerous he is.
I said nothing about Biden being shielded. If there was any evidence (which there was none) he committed illegal acts he should be investigated and prosecuted. But it is not the job of the U. S. president to ask a foreign leader to investigate a family. Now it turns out any evidence was phony. It was a big waste of time and money.
And also that Shokin was not investigating Burisma (the investigation ended before Biden's intervention). Shokin was corrupt, not investigating corruption, and the U. S. and its allies worked together to get rid of him.
I don't think any presidents or former presidents should have immunity.
