IDK. What is your idea of fair?Okay, so is what Nordberg proposed earlier "fair" by that standard?

Define "fair taxes."
Dont hold your breath waiting for an answer to that question.Define "fair taxes."
So you morons use terms even though you have no idea what they mean. Oh that's right, you won't answer, you're afraid of me. I forgot. Why? No matter what the response is, you'll claim it's too much. When it comes to taxing the wealthy, even a buck is too much. You stooges are carrying them on your backs.
Classic projection since I never hold my breath waiting for you to answer mine, Yak. LOLDont hold your breath waiting for an answer to that question.
You're in trouble now I agree completely. Gotta hammer out "poverty level" but in principle this is sound AND fair. Although I think a VAT on ALL purchases is better. It doesn't tax income, everyone pays something and you can control your tax burden. No deductions. I favor a 20% flat tax for everyone over the poverty level and all businesses over a similar level.

I addressed the only post I've ever seen from you that makes any fucking sense whatsoeverClassic projection since I never hold my breath waiting for you to answer mine, Yak. LOL
It's in the link, Yak. No worries, I know you're a bit "slow".You're in trouble now I agree completely. Gotta hammer out "poverty level" but in principle this is sound AND fair. Yakety YakSo you morons use terms even though you have no idea what they mean. Oh that's right, you won't answer, you're afraid of me. I forgot.
Thanks for the confession you dodged questions, Yak, along with your admission that the only question you replied to was the one where you'd cause yourself further embarrassment if you didn't.I addressed the only post I've ever seen from you that makes any fucking sense whatsoever
I'd say something around 20% or less. For the average taxpayer, all taxes at all levels should be somewhere around 10%. Right now, federal taxes alone run from 10% to 37%. Adding 10% to the top rate takes it to nearly 50%. The government taking half of what you make is damned near criminal.IDK. What is your idea of fair?
No, I think some taxes are necessary. I definitely think that nobody--NOBODY should be paying 40+% of their earnings to government. I don't care how much you make, you shouldn't have your wealth confiscated by government at some level to the point where you are giving them more than you get to keep. Why? No matter what the response is, you'll claim it's too much. When it comes to taxing the wealthy, even a buck is too much. You stooges are carrying them on your backs.
I'm not. For the Leftists here, they see nothing wrong with tax rates on what they define as "The Rich" of 70, 80, even 90%. They see it as "fair and equal" that someone who works hard, does something that makes a crap ton of money, should be punished for their success by the government confiscating nearly all of their wealth and redistributing (aka wasting) it as they see fit.Dont hold your breath waiting for an answer to that question.
You've just given proof that you're nothing but a willfully ignorant MAGA troll who cannot provide valid proof of anything you parrot .... you just double down on assertions, allegations, supposition & conjecture....BUT NO VALID DOCUMENTED VERIFIABLE PROOF (aka FACTS).Hoping the best praying for that area...
No lack of funding for immigrants or other countries...Just the other day...Plenty of money for Lebanon...when questioned about it, Binder Girl stormed out...
She said that Joe and Kam are going to do what they want and if we don't like it, tough...
What more proof do you need?
Yep....she just doubled down on her parroted MAGA talking point by trying to "prove" it with MORE unsubstantiated BS. I gave her a link that pretty much put to rest her BS.She can't. And even were her lies true, she'd still insist that those yucky brown "illegal" ppl deserve to starve or die of thirst or disease because white Americans like herself are more valuable. **eyeroll*
One idea and you think you're a genius. You're a dimwitted piece of human garbageIt's in the link, Yak. No worries, I know you're a bit "slow".
Thanks. TBH, it's not my idea, but was resolved in discussions with other Libertarians years ago. The 20% figure was resolved by looking at US financial obligations spread across the population.
They talk through their assesI'm not. For the Leftists here, they see nothing wrong with tax rates on what they define as "The Rich" of 70, 80, even 90%. I hope you're following Kam's "media" tour....I'd be interested in your take on her "performances"...You've just given proof that you're nothing but a willfully ignorant MAGA troll who cannot provide valid proof of anything you parrot .... you just double down on assertions, allegations, supposition & conjecture....BUT NO VALID DOCUMENTED VERIFIABLE PROOF (aka FACTS).
Here stupid, learn something (or deny it, as MAGA mooks/trolls often do):

who used the power of government to stop citizens from helping other citizens?Full List of Republicans Who Voted Against FEMA Funding Before Helene Hit
As Hurricane Helene careened toward Florida's Panhandle, numerous Republicans voted against extending funding for the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
Last week, Congress approved $20 billion for FEMA's disaster relief fund as part of a stopgap spending bill to fund the government through December 20. But the measure left out billions of dollars in requested supplemental disaster funding.
The Senate approved the measure by a 78-18 vote on September 25 after it passed the House in a 341-82 vote. Republicans supplied the no votes in both chambers.
Some of the Republicans who voted against the bill represent states that have been hard hit by Helene, including Florida Representative Matt Gaetz.
