Is that like saying Haitian immigrants are eating Rover and Spot? Or saying if Harris were to be elected WWIII will break out? How about if she were elected “you won’t have a farm anymore? Catholics will be persecuted by Harris? Etc., etc., etc.

And that doesn’t even count his personal attacks including labeling Democrats “traitors”

But he’s going to unite everybody because it was the Democrats who spread hate and fear

There is no policy. He hasn't even been inaugurated yet. There is no bill. You are hyperventilating over speculation. But, I understand. Your feelings are still raw about losing and you don't know how to deal with it so you lash out the only way you know how.

Yep. Mr. Owl's nephew used to bitch all the time on social media about "those lazy slackers in Chicago" costing him in taxes so they could lay around and do drugs all day on his dime. Then he got fired, penalized, and went on welfare, food stamps, and unemployment. His wife had to get a job waiting tables at a truck stop. Then he bitched and moaned that "Obama cut our food stamps" because they had extra income coming in. As you might imagine, he's as MAGATy as you can get.

Hell, blood-red Missouri just raised it's minimum wage and added paid sick time. Florida WOULD have passed abortion if the rules hadn't been changed to require 60% of the votes vs the 57% it got. Labor oriented/liberal policies are immensely popular.

Why then, do people vote for politicians that want to undermine them?

That is what they voted for and wanted , it doesn't matter to any of them that there are people out here that just get by on what they get from SS and food stamps and now they want to cut what these people get.
I have not got an answer from them on how do they think these people are going to live.
Some of them may even lose their homes and won't have a place to live.
YES lets cut SS , Medicare , Medicaid, and just say fuck those low income people let them die.

Tens of millions of people for Harris but those people could hold very different on certain individual issues (same as Trump voters).

Speaking from a California perspective we're a state where Democrats have total control yet on individual ballot issues we've twice voted against affirmative action, we voted to ban gay marriage, we've voted for increase punishment for crime etc. It's the same as in red states where some have supported abortion or an increase in the minimum wage.

I'm assuming there are a decent number of us who don't agree 100% on everything with the people we vote for. It's simply a matter of what do we prioritize.

Without fail (that I can remember), every single election Democrats claim Republicans will end S.S. and Medicare. And yet somehow it's still here (even though it's in financial trouble because no one will acknowledge the truth about the S.S. fund not having enough money).

And what's most funny/sad. Sorry *ss Trump ran on a platform of not only not touching S.S. and Medicare, he attacked Republicans who have acknowledged the truth (at any time in the past) and suggested reforms. Yet he still is being accused of wanting to end it.

Like my man Archives says, Democrats want to demagogue the issue.
