This will work well for President Obama...

Chicken little, I mean obfuscate are you afraid to by stocks based on that pussyfied logic?

Hey Topfraud, we both know I know DEMONSTRABLY more than you do when it comes to economics. So spare me your bullshit. Also, I already said Stocks may be the only thing that will get better.

The economy will not be much better in 2012. We are now a Euro Socialist Country and all Euro Socialist Countries always have 10-15% unemployment so you better get use to us having the same. The debt will be alot worse and jobs about the same. Stock Market may be a little better but that's about it.

We have already been told to get used to double digit unemploument for the long term. If we got rid of this administration now--and all the progressives in the nation, I don't think we could see beloe 8% for another 20 years, and the top of the bell curve would be 10 years. It took 30 plus years to lose what we have lost so far, and this administrations goals are 30 more years of so called progress--in the next 3 years.

We shall see...

Thats what they said when Bill Clinton's tax increases passed.

Yea---that was the second decade of exploiting slave labor in developing nations. Back up and look at the curve. It was Regans tax cuts that gave us the 10 years of new business and prosperity during the Clinton era. All Regan did was offset the redistribution a bit, but it was not to last as outsourcing started with progressives in the Regan administration. Right after the high that ended with the Clinton administration (due to tax cuts in the Regan administration)---our business went over seas left and right.

It takes about 10 years for big tax cuts to take good hold---because it can take us 10 years to create something. It onky takes one quarter to go out of business if you can't pay your bills any longer, and today, we are in the most debt of any society known to man through history.

Check---the progressive have us in check with two queens. It has been a long game.

And it very well may be tempory--as the worlds consumers run out of disposable money. We can't have Capatalism, without capatal. And if you notice---every nation that is tired of being poor (or wants to build their minitary)---turns to some form of Capatalism to make money.

If it passes, the Healthcare bill, even if it were going to harm the American economy, will not have had a chance to do so yet, and the American people will remember how incredably alarmist and silly the Republicans were over it.
!

/boggle....so, it doesn't matter if it fucks the country up, it only matters if the people notice it's fucked up in time to blame the people who fucked it up?.......

I'm laughing at u know. And I'll be laughing lauded when themarket is 40 percent higher. I'm glad you teabaggers are scared, I love climbing the wall of worry. Let me know when you pussies have the spine to buy, I'll start selling soon after.

We shall see...

Thats what they said when Bill Clinton's tax increases passed.

THats why you guys said under Clinton....

FACT:
Clinton enjoyed a great economy in spite of his tax increase...why? because the 104th, 105th, 106th Congresses were Republican majority in BOTH houses and luckily, the 107th Congress was split....
What does this mean..? I means the jackass party couldn't do any real damage for most of Clintons entire terms....

I can't think of a single domestic problem that is not traceable directly to those 545 people the make up Congress and the SC.
If the tax code is unfair, it's because they want it unfair.

If the budget is in the red, it's because they want it in the red ..

If the Army & Marines are in IRAQ , it's because they want them in IRAQ

If they do not receive social security but are on an elite retirement plan not available to the people, it's because they want it that way.
Those 545 people, and they alone, are responsible.

They, and they alone, have the power..

Funny, because even though we had those Republican congresses, you still claimed the end of the world.

They shut down the Government because they said it would destroy America if the Budget passed, well... guess what it passed...! Then we enjoyed a great economy until Bush destroyed it!

I know the Democrats will suffer losses in 2010, its supported by history and the health care bill as well as the economy will not help.

But this will work very well for President Obama come November of 2012.

If it passes, the Healthcare bill, even if it were going to harm the American economy, will not have had a chance to do so yet, and the American people will remember how incredably alarmist and silly the Republicans were over it.

If it does not pass, the Insurance Companies are prepared to impose HUGE increases for coverage over the next 6 months, and the American people will be pissed.

The economy, by almost all measures will be MUCH improved and quite possably really rocketing....

This contrasted with the predictions of the Republcians of doom and gloom should really help President Obama rocket to reelection. After Reelection the real LIBERAL Obama will turn America on the right path and rocket us toward being the great nation we have the potential to be!

Obama will be a one term president. People are angrier than I have ever seen them before

It won't take that long:

Caterpillar: Health care bill would cost it $100M

Dow Jones Newswires * Caterpillar Inc. said the health-care overhaul legislation being considered by the U.S. House of Representatives would increase the company's health-care costs by more than $100 million in the first year alone.

In a letter Thursday to House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) and House Republican Leader John Boehner of Ohio, Caterpillar urged lawmakers to vote against the plan "because of the substantial cost burdens it would place on our shareholders, employees and retirees."

Caterpillar, the world's largest construction machinery manufacturer by sales, said it's particularly opposed to provisions in the bill that would expand Medicare taxes and mandate insurance coverage. The legislation would require nearly all companies to provide health insurance for their employees or face large fines.

The Peoria-based company said these provisions would increase its insurance costs by at least 20 percent, or more than $100 million, just in the first year of the health-care overhaul program.

"We can ill-afford cost increases that place us at a disadvantage versus our global competitors," said the letter signed by Gregory Folley, vice president and chief human resources officer of Caterpillar. "We are disappointed that efforts at reform have not addressed the cost concerns we've raised throughout the year."

Business executives have long complained that the options offered for covering 32 million uninsured Americans would result in higher insurance costs for those employers that already provide coverage. Opponents have stepped up their attacks in recent days as the House moves closer toward a vote on the Senate version of the health-care legislation.

A letter Thursday to President Barack Obama and members of Congress signed by more than 130 economists predicted the legislation would discourage companies from hiring more workers and would cause reduced hours and wages for those already employed.

Caterpillar noted that the company supports efforts to increase the quality and the value of health care for patients as well as lower costs for employer-sponsored insurance coverage.

"Unfortunately, neither the current legislation in the House and Senate, nor the president's proposal, meets these goals," the letter said.

Who said that?

I would ask you if you read the quote, but I was quoting you.....I would have expected you to recognize your own words......you said even if it harms the economy at the next election it will be too soon for anyone to be aware of it.....obviously, if it does harm the economy we weren't being silly or alarmist........thus, you don't care if the economy is harmed, you just want him re-elected....

If we were indeed a "Euro Socialist Country", then the current rumble over healthcare reform would NOT be an issue, because our citizens would have a better healthcare system.

Your steadfast devotion to the system that put us in this economic tailspin in the first place is bizarre.......come talk to me when the transaction tax is back in place, and then you might have something.

wait, you've been saying that it was Bush and his war spending that put us in this 'tailspin', but now it's the health care system?

can't make up your mind? flip flop?

Wait, I NEVER said that the Shrub's "off the books" budgeting of his illegal and unwarranted invasion/occupation of Iraq was the SOLE cause of our current economic problems....I DID say it was a MAJOR contributor that folk LIKE YOU DENY.

Can't you get your facts straight? My statements stand.
