I think math should be done properly. Can you do the math and tell us what the actual cumulative inflation was from Dec 2020 to Dec 2024?

The real question is whether wages kept pace with inflation because that is more important than what inflation was.

Which is a better scenario for workers?
Inflation of 20%, wage growth of 20%
Inflation of 0%, wage growth of -20%
No, Pobre, the real question is cumulative inflation, which you still do not understand.

Poor Pobre.

Second time, Pobre, it was SATIRE.

Have you completed the homework that I assigned youZ.

No, “the dog ate my homework” excuse, Pobre..
Your fourth grade math was also wrong. When giving the wrong answer to a math problem it doesn't really matter how you calculated it or guessed.

The Gulf of America - The chasm that exists between reality and what Trump supporters believe.

I do understand cumulative inflation. I also understand that you don't know how to calculate cumulative inflation or cumulative interest.
Can you tell us what the actual cumulative inflation was from Dec 2020 to Dec 2024 within 5% of being correct?

Are you drunk, Pobre? Obfuscation?

Yahoo…

‘Overall inflation was 21.2% during the four years Biden was in office, with the latest data from December 2024. Earnings rose by 19.4% during that time. So the typical family did, in fact, fall behind during Biden’s presidency. Prices rose by more than earnings, which means a typical paycheck bought less at the end than it did at the beginning.”

You haven’t completed the homework that I assigned you yet.

Get to work, Pobre.

I tell you what Earl. I will make this even easier for you by giving you the annual inflation rates in Dec of each year.

4.7
8.0
4.1
2.9

Now tell us what the cumulative inflation was over that time period and include one decimal place in your answer. This is very simple math, Earl. Surely you can do it.

When did that happen?
I believe it was last week. I went to the store several weeks ago and bought Coffee it was $9.99 a can , ( and had been for weeks ) and it jumped to $14.99 for the same brand and size of can , and seeing I didn't have a link I could not prove it and I believe it was Earl that called me out on it.
Well he made a statement and I just asked him for a link so I could read it for myself.

One more thing My post was to Earl he said there was 20% inflation under Biden, I am sure IF that was true and we know it isn't he should be able to pull up a link with no Problem.
I noticed THIS article that looks at inflation of basic foods (see bottom for more information).

"The average price per dozen was $4.10 at the end of 2024, according to the Bureau of Labor Statistics. That's twice as much as in August 2023."

Well, Earl should have deferred to your authority as to your observation, yes.

A drought in Brazil has caused the price to go up. It’s predicted to go up even more.

The MAGAts actually think that a steaming pile of pigshit is somehow preferable to a vegetable.
Is this the coarse, vulgar, offensive, and crude language that you learned in union rep school, old man?

Did you practice this scatological garbage in a barn, old man?

Since you probably don't know the meaning of scatological...

scat·o·log·i·cal
/ˌskad(ə)lˈäjək(ə)l/
adjective
adjective: scatological
  1. relating to or characterized by an interest in excrement and excretion
