What "democracy" means to the left

For the past few years all you hear leftists squawk about is protecting "democracy". I am going to avoid the constitutional arguments about whether we are a democracy or a constitutional republic (we are the latter) and focus on what the left really means.

Because remember, if a leftist is opening their mouth they are by definition lying.

What a leftist means by protecting democracy is that it is electing a government they agree with. That is what they want to protect. Look at how they are screeching about attempts to get our spending in order. They like the grifters. They like the waste.

They don't mean democracy as in one man one vote or the people get to choose their representatives.

Look at how they have chosen their recent candidates for President

1) B. Hussein Obama would have not been President had he not first been Senator. To do that they illegally leaked divorce records for his opponent virtually ending his candidacy
2) In 2016 they had to take out Bernie Sanders with dirty deeds because he was beating Hitlery Clinton
3) In 2020 they bribed Klobuchar and Buttigieg to get out of the race at the same clearing the way for Biden to win South Carolina
4) In 2024 they forced Biden out and then replaced him with Harris. Not one democrat voter had a say in whether or not Harris would be the nominee. Talk about undemocratic

So don't be fooled when the left says they are protecting democracy. What they are trying to protect is their hold on power. That is what they are trying to protect.

The tried to take Trump off the ballot and they DID take RFK off the ballot all in the name of saving democracy.

Did anyone release Trump's divorce records and eliminate him from the race? Bernie was not going to win. He was not close. Biden froze during the 1st debate and wrecked his chances to beat Daffy Donald. He had to be replaced.

First off, the US is a Democratic Republic, there are a lot of “constitutional republics” in the world, but some don’t democratically elect their representatives to that republic, we do, constitutional only means the form or framework of Government

Protecting democracy means following the Government the Founders established, building an oligarchy does not

Didn’t know being a Senator meant you can’t be President. Nobody “took out” Bernie nor bribe Buttigieg or Klobuschar, and how does anyone “force” a sitting President to do anything he does want to do

As for following teh government the founders established, then your side is completely antithetical to that. Where to begin?

Senators weren't supposed to be directly elected according to the government the founders established

and while I agree that my party's internal machinations have often been wanting,

and this DOES NOT include the Harris nomination,

as a non-member, you don't get one fucking thing to say about it.
