I loved listening to his records. Many were timeless.
lol he just took easy positions; he knew his market and how to get money out of them. He some funny stuff early on, but became just another predictable parrot, pretty much the same as his market audience.
The Smothers Brothers were much better, and their Variety show was excellent; even my mother liked "Share a little tea with Goldie'. They were much more creative.

Rowan & Martin's Laugh-In and Hee Haw were funny too. That's why government should never get to decide what art to censor.
The writing wasn't always great, but they had a great ensemble. You can't put together a great group like that these days, they were all stars.
I used to spend hours (days) writing crazy shit to post on the net, yet there was always a cyber gang trying to get me banned.
Most of these boards have cliques, and the polarized ideologues run gangbangs of Thought Police on most boards as well. I'm a moderate Conservative for the most part, with a few moderate opinions and one 'socialist' one advocated by Henry George re how our military is funded. I don't vote by Party, nor am I some one Issue fanatic. Naturally I usually get banned from partisan boards of either stripe.

Writing is like a sport; I always give a touche to the quick and clever. The problem is our world is devolving faster than Carlin could imagine. The Smothers Brothers were wholesome entertainment, so knowing why they were canceled proves those in power are cucks.

IMO, CO/goat is a paranoid schizophrenic who suffered a breakdown sometime in his 30s after completing a Masters degree in Psychology. I'm guessing either Psychology, Counseling and Guidance or Industrial Psychology. He won't say specifically.
