“I saw Hamas terrorists carrying boxes with the U.N. and UNRWA emblems on them into the tunnel,” Sharabi told the global body. “Dozens and dozens of boxes, paid by your government, feeding terrorists who tortured me and murdered my family.”
“They would eat many meals a day from the U.N. aid in front of us, and we never received any of it,” he testified. “When you speak of humanitarian aid, remember this. Hamas eats like kings while hostages starve.”
Hamas terrorists brutalized hostages in captivity, according to Sharabi.
“I have come back from hell,” he said. “I have returned to tell my story. For 491 days, I was kept underground in Hamas terror tunnels, chained, starved, beaten and humiliated.”
“The chains they kept me in tore into my skin from the moment I entered until the moment I was released,” he told the Security Council. “I was treated worse than an animal. I had to beg for food, beg to use the bathroom.”
“Begging became my existence,” he said.
Sharabi lost more than 66 pounds in captivity in Gaza and weighed just 97 pounds upon his release on Feb. 8. His wife, Lianne, and their daughters, Yahel and Noiya, were murdered in Kibbutz Be’eri during the Hamas-led terrorist attacks in southern Israel on Oct. 7, 2023.

The English language is a relatively recent thing. In 1610, the King James version of the Bible (i.e. English) used the term "Philistine." Shortly thereafter, the English language began using the ancient Greek term "Palaistine" and from the Hebrew word "Pelishtina" to refer to the geographic homeland of the Philistines, which historians document as being somewhere in what used to be Syria.
There certainly was a Philistine homeland, which would be Palestine, but that place doesn't exist today.

Hamas didn't kill anyone. Al Qassam, a militant terrorist proxy of Iran, did that.
How? Hamas have all been assassinated/murdered/executed. None remain. The IDF slaughtered unarmed civilian noncombatants by the tens of thousands and announced every Gazan administrator they killed for everyone to celebrate.
I have to ask, since none of the Gazans were able to fight back, including the Hamas administrators, how is it that there is anything that the dead Hamas administrators can do to stop the IDF from continuing their genocide? I'd really like to know. Israel, the perpetrator of the genocide, the initiator of the war against Gazan civilians, is the party that keeps breaking the peace deals and resuming the genocide. There is nothing that the innocent, unarmed civilian Gazan noncombatants can do to "end this war." Only the IDF can stop perpetrating their genocide. Until they do, it will obviously continue.

Hamas has never used "human shields." It's silly to pretend that they do. If Israel is slaughtering all the unarmed civilian noncombatants who cannot fight back, that precludes any possibility of "hiding behind human shields." Again, this is just another quip uttered to make one feel better about supporting Israel's genocide.
I highly recommend you take an objective look at what the IDF is doing; it's unconsionable. Read through the 4th Geneva Convention which defines the punishable war crimes against civilians and you'll see that the IDF is violating practically all of them. The only thing Hamas has done is die.
Hamas did not attack Israel. Iran attacked Israel, via its proxy Al Qassam. Israel has created a very bad situation.
That was Al Qassam, at the behest of Iran. Hamas didn't know about the attack until it happened.
Correct. Israel has effected the 2nd Nakba. Their aim is to eliminate the Pelishtina (Palestinians) who they HATE. Israel will never accept their right to exist.
