There is a very good reason I am very interested in American politics.


Australia is a free , Western liberal democratic nation, like America.


Australia, however, is only a tiny nation relative to the US. You have a population of 330,000,000 - we have a population of only about 25, 000,000.


Australia and America, as free, Western liberal democracies have always been firm allies. In the 2nd world war without America's support, we would have been invaded by the Imperial Japanese Army in 1942/3. Our own defence forces, were too weak (in terms of size) to keep holding back the Japanese army on the Island of New Guinea (Just to the North of the Australian continent). General Douglas MacArthur arrived from America and set up his Headquarters in the Australian city of Brisbane in 1941. Shortly after MacArthur arrived, many 1000s of GIs where shipped to Brisbane . Many of these American GIs were sent to New Guinea, in 1942, to help the embattled Australian troops there prevent the Japs from taking New Guinea then using the Island as a stepping stone to cross the Coral sea and Invade Australia.



During the Second World War,t he soldiers of Imperial Japanese Army were well-known for their ruthless, cruel and blood-thirsty fanaticism. Had they invaded Australia, they would have quickly overpowered our military defences, then raped, butchered/executed, tortured and enslaved the civilian population .



If it were not for the Americans saving our necks on New Guinea, that is what would have happened to us. This is why I never forget the sacrifice of those brave GI who died in combat in New Guinea in 1942/3. It is why I am thankful, more generally speaking, that America has always had our back, when hostile foreign forces - like China - threaten us.



As a staunch America ally, we have alway been willing to help America out when help is requested. When LBJ asked if we could help support his American troops in Vietnam - we immediately sent many 1000s of our soldiers and other military personnel to fight with the Yanks. This US/CIA intelligence/surveillance hub was called, "Pine Gap", It is close to a desert town in Australia called "Alice Springs". The CIA initially wanted to place it near Alice Springs, because this is literally right in the middle of Australia - that is, right in the very middle of a MASSIVE desert. Putting "Pine Gap" in the middle of this vast central desert meant that with the exception of the tiny outback town of Alice Spring, it was well and truly isolated from any kind of civilisation and its prying eyes. If you think I'm exaggerating, do you recall that between 2021 and 2024 the SOUTHERN BORDER was completely OPENED and millions of UNVETTED, illegal aliens poured into the United States . That is what I refer to as a REVOLUTIONARY action - in a broader revolution that was being waged against America. Then there was the astonishing blatant attack on Justice and the Rule of Law in the form of FOUR lawfare indictments orchestrated by the White House and the Biden Department of Justice, to serve as corrupt political weapons against President Donald Trump. I have never seen any trials as blatantly, even absurdly, corrupt as these "lawfare" travesties. For example, In a bogus civil fraud indictment brought by New York Attorney General, Letitia James, against Donald Trump in 2023, Trump's Palm Beach property "Mar-a-Lago" was valued in court at $18,000,000. How could this kind of "Off with the Pixies" BS have taken place, when just about every sane adult in America knows, that Trump's "Mar-a_Lago property is worth MUCH, MUC, MUCH more than $18,000,000. At the end of this trial, the verdict was not decided by a jury, but rather solely by the trial's weird/Democrat Judge,- Judge Engoron -( known as "Judge Nudie" in legal circles , as he has a penchant for posting gross images of his bared, geriatric, abdominal muscles online) Judge Nudie bought down a judgement against Trump for $545,000,000.. Judge Engoron appears to have simply pulled this extremely oversized amount out of his crazy ass-hole.




My point is that not only were the 4 lawfare indictments against Trump bogus, they all actually distorted and twisted the law so egregiously that the prosecution cases often took on a surreal, fairy-tale type aura, and it is frightening that the target of this looney-tune justice was a FORMER PRESIDENT of AMERICA. The fact that the Biden government was able to railroad a Former US President, and have him forced into court to defend charges concocted by vicious Democrat "mad hatters" like: AG Letitia James and DA Alvin Bragg and crooked, partisan Judges like Juan Merchan, is proof of the genuinely revolutionary nature of the Biden government (that is, of whoever it actually was pulling the strings) Because what we had here was an extreme left, Marxian, Woke, globalist anti-American government prosecuting a former Conservative President (in Trump) and flagrantly wiping its ass on the law in front of the nation while it did so This was the spectacle of a man who was a former POTUS being forced to face naked "mob justice" at the hands of political thugs like Letitia James.



So, there are two examples of what I saw happen in America in 2021-2024...



The "erasing" and opening of the Southern Border to unfettered/unvetted mass, illegal foreign immigration - an act equivalent to cutting America's throat.


The intentional sabotage and ultimate break-down of the American Justice System at the hands of political extremists bent on destroying America's white, Western liberal order.



So, this is why I am a careful observer of American politics. The situation in America between 2021 and 2024 was that the nation was in the hands of an extreme, Leftist/Marxian government. If the same crew had won the 2024 elections, then by 2028 America would be looking in a VERY bad state. If they kept being voted into power, America would, before too long, become a Third World nation. As America went down the gurgler, so would we in Australia. If America's capitalist economy is destroyed by the kind of Marxists who were running the Biden government
then our economy in Australia would be doomed. Likewise, if America becomes a Marxist/Marxian state, Australia would no longer be able to defend its Western, liberal, democratic order - we would become a shit-hole country like: Venezuela, Cuba, Guatemala, El Salvador, etc.

WE do not have the infrastructure in place to make everything we need / buy here.
Maybe Ford / GM will buy the auto assembly plants Mazda, KIA , and some other auto companies are shutting down. But with higher tariffs on the parts then buy to build " American made " autos going up and sales going down they won't have the money to do that.
Then you need to find jobs for the thousands of auto workers they laid off, then we have truckers going out of business because the supply chain is all fucked up because of all Trumps BS. How about the Farmers that may go bankrupt because the cost of things they need is going way up.
NO being able to make everything here in the USA at a price people will be able to afford is years and years off IF it can be done at all.
Tariffs of say 5% are reasonable and may do what you say but 25/30 /40 /150/ and in one case 3252% YES Trump has put a tariff of 3251% on one country are NOT Reasonable and will only do more harm then good.
Trump has started a real shit show.
