Hegseth hosts first meeting of what he says will be a monthly Christian prayer service at Pentagon

So you are saying or are denying that everything that the Bible tells us is nothing but conjecture?
The Bible is evidence, nothing more. It is not a proof. It is also not the only evidence of the existence of Jesus Christ or of God.

Christianity, like any other religion is based on an initial circular argument (by itself is NOT a fallacy), with argument extending from that. For Christianity, that initial circular argument is that Christ exists, and is who He says He is, namely the Son of God. ALL other arguments supporting Christianity stem from that initial circular argument.

The other name for the circular argument is the Argument of Faith.

In other words, Christianity MUST rest on faith, and faith alone. There is no proof for it or against it. It is not possible to prove a circular argument True or False.

I happen to be Christian, but I realize where that belief lies...upon faith, and faith alone.

Jesus Christ also spoke of the importance of faith in the Bible. You should go read it.

Hearsay IS allowed, so long as it is presented as hearsay.
Again. You are misunderstanding, and largely incorrect. Hearsay is generally inadmissible in court, unless it falls under specific exemptions. I listed one of those, a dying utterance, say the person was dying and said, "Me and Jakey killed that girl" to a cop, that would be admissible. Other exemptions. If they said one thing during questioning or in another court case and now as a witness changed it (conversely it is also admissible to say he has been consistent in his story if the defense or prosecution says he is "now lying"), and finally reporting by the several witnesses present during a lineup.

However, you telling a story of what someone told you that an eyewitness told them? No. Not admissible.

This wasn't just hearsay, it was hearsay of hearsay. Some few folks writing down the story told to them of someone else telling them what they saw... this isn't just inadmissible, it would be laughable in a court.

Especially when you got to the part of the "he was invisible except to some specific folks that God wanted to see him"... That does not make it a better hearsay of hearsay or even a better eyewitness story. They saw the invisible man... That's the story we get of what they told to the person being interviewed for the actual "book" being written.

Anyway, this is evidence and not proof, and sketchy evidence at best.

Agreed. Otherwise she'd leave the luxuries and freedom of the West to go defend her people.
What a complete loser ^

A real teacher would know it's both illegal and unconstitutional for public school employees to lead a public schools class in prayer. As noted in the link, this is in compliance with the Constitution.

May public schools require students to participate in prayer or religious expression?

No. As government officials, public school employees must remain neutral towards religion and nonbelief while acting in their official capacities. For example, employees acting in their official capacities may not lead students in prayer (even if asked to do so by students), encourage or discourage student participation in religious expression, or promote or discourage participation in religious activities.

There's a surprising number of things real teachers know but Toxic s omehow doesn't. Wonder why that is? lol

Let's pretend for a moment that somehow America overcomes its prejudices against women and Muslims, and elects President Ilhan Omar. She decides to hold a daily Muslim prayer session every morning in the Oval Office, inviting interested staffers to attend. Constitutional or not? I'd say probably okay. Let's pretend further that she has the call to prayer broadcast over the WH speaker system, and has her press secretary notify Daily Kos, Al Jazeera, and Huffpo to cover it. Constitutional or not? I would say it is unconstitutional as she is now making the prayer session public. As POTUS, she is endorsing Islam by her actions, right?

Do you also believe that it was just hearsay that people actually saw Christ die on the cross?

Where is your proof that anyone who wrote about it saw His execution, or are they just repeating what they heard?

There does seem to be some evidence that the historical figure of Jesus once existed, but none that He is divine or the "only begotten" son of a god.

I look forward to seeing each monthly prayer meeting at the Pentagon..... If it will be interesting to see who is invited to participate.... I look forward to schools being allowed to have baccalaureate services again. And sing Christmas Carols.... I have never seen
a public school Hold a prayer session in class... Or consider it for that matter.... not in thirty years... Or even after I retired... I also look forward to the gospel choir coming back...;) And there being no problem with holding a memorial assembly should a student or teacher pass away...

So, the world has not come to an end because there was a Christian service at the Pentagon... Relax and Carry on, everyone...

Translation: I fully support everyone on my MAGAT side violating the Constitution because they think like me and esp. because it annoys the libtards. *eyeroll*

Shouldn't you be baking cookies for the vets for Memorial Day? Posting smarmy patriotic memes to virtue-signal what a great patriotic American you are? Scoot! lol
