But don't make too much out of this back-and-forth between Elon Musk and President Trump. 1. SpaceX is an indispensable asset for the US military and the special interests using it to project power globally, it will never be cut off;2. and President Trump is not actually in charge of anything; 3. If Elon Musk really thought he was going to "change" anything in Washington through politics/elections and is really upset, he will complain but eventually surrender back to the status quo; I'd like to be wrong, the US gov. cutting off SpaceX or vice versa and denying the US the current advantage it has in orbit would vastly benefit the emergence of multipolarism and ultimately the best interests of Americans themselves in the long run.
