A violent mob of protesters breached a US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) facility in Portland, Oregon, on Saturday night, injuring four federal officers, according to authorities.

Rioters in black clothing launched fireworks and created a makeshift battering ram — breaking a glass door and breaching the facility, Oregon Live reported.

Around 6:30 p.m., cops declared the gathering near the ICE building an unlawful assembly and warned protesters to disperse.

Federal officers in tactical gear deployed smoke, tear gas, flash grenades, and other projectiles as some in the crowd hurled fireworks and water bottles in response, the outlet said.

At about 8 p.m., the feds reported that criminal activity has escalated to assault and criminal mischief, authorities said. Local cops announced they would begin making arrests and warned the unruly crowd not to interfere.

“Do not interfere with police action,” Portland police warned. “Failure to adhere to this order may subject you to citation or arrest.” Four officers were injured in the melee, though the building was eventually secured by law enforcement.

By 9 p.m., the gathering was no longer a riot, cops said.

The unrest followed a “No Kings” protest against President Trump and immigration enforcement earlier in the day.

Tens of thousands of people marched through downtown Portland and returned to Waterfront Park around 4 p.m. By evening, rioters began making an assault on the local ICE headquarters.

At least 3 people were arrested during the riot, two of them for allegedly assaulting a peace officer, KOIN reported.

“Secretary [Kristi] Noem’s message to the rioters is clear: you will not stop us or slow us down. ICE and our federal law enforcement partners will continue to enforce the law,” the Department of Homeland Security said in a post on X.

“If you lay a hand on a law enforcement officer, you will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law,” the statement read.

Can anyone say "insurrection"?

Mayor Bass: Protests were “overwhelming peaceful.”

“The border is closed.”

“Sharp as a tack.”

Too funny…except it isn’t.

Typical, no source

Over five million Americans protested on Saturday in close to 2000 cites and towns all across America and “earl” is attempting to reframe the events showing undocumented photos from who knows where

Nice try “earl,” but the majority of Americans don’t watch Fox

I did watch Fox to see what they might be saying. I didn't see those photos on Fox News. I flipped channels and didn't see them anywhere, truth be told. Most of these were American Flag waving people with "No Kings" signage and had permits. Yeah, permits.... especially in Chicago. It was basically a parade.

I'm not usually on a leftist agenda (in fact I am never on a leftist agenda), but I will say that this particular day of protests were uneventful in the "criminal" category.

Argument from randU fallacy. DON'T TRY TO DENY YOUR SUPPORT OF RIOTERS, LOOTERS, ARSONISTS, ASSAULT OF LAW ENFORCEMENT, ORGANIZED CRIME, AND ILLEGAL ALIENS!

“Organizers estimated…”

Do you think that the “organizers “ might be a bit biased, Anchovies?

I “estimate” that it was a few thousand.

I find it stunning that that these far left Democratic Socialist loons are supporting the riots, looting, assaults, and burning by the rioters.

Stunning!

Some of it DID result in violence. Mostly it was a parade as you describe, but there WERE instances of violence.
