A port of entry is a location where someone can legally cross into another country. I've been through several ports of entry along the southern border. How many have you been through?

I never said that. The fact that someone requests asylum doesn't mean they are ever granted asylum.
You have no idea how accurate that is.....
I quoted the US law that specifically says you can request asylum for up to a year regardless of immigration status. Which part of that is confusing for you?
