Some reasons I love America!

We are the strongest DEMOCRACY in the world!

We (still) have rule of law.

Only 3.5 years of The Felon left!

Our principals and ideals evolve over time.

The old Conservatism of Bush/Regan are dead, killed by their former supporters.

A new stronger America will emerge after the pruning of old ideas will grow from the destruction of the Felon years.

We will, as always, grow back stronger.

I used to believe that we would be fighting Reagan Bush Ideology forever, but it’s gone now.

Much more economically successful blue states will emerge stronger, the red state will continue to grow Weaker economically until they decide to move forward.

America will Grow stronger as we repair the damage.

The Republican Party has given up on forever wars, and that is a huge step forward.

Sometimes it takes a radical to end the vestiges of the past, to pay the way for liberal reforms to the future.

This coming, Fourth of July is a brilliant symbol for our future.
What I like best about America is idiots like you donkey humpers get to speak freely so we know who the really dangerous are.

The politicians they elect are dismantling the republic which affects all of our lives.

America is a socially regressive nation compared to the more modern democracies of Western Europe.

No national health service.
No affordable education.
Shitty public transportation.
Weakened labor unions.
More people in prison than any nation in the world.
And now, fascist government.

I find it absurd that you would even ask such a question.

These deficiencies materialize for ONE reason....inferior people.

We have never had a National Health Service. But you can get medical care, if you cannot afford health insurance.

That link shows the US ranked 15th (out of 93 countries) in education.

Public transportation is shitty because it is not used by the overwhelming majority of people in this country. We like our cars and being able to come and go according to our own schedule.

Labor unions are great, if you want more restrictions.

Yeah, I don't really care. Bottom line is when given a choice, you live in a Red state. So the only thing we can logically deduce is that you prefer living in a Red state rather than a Blue state. It is ok, you are in good company. Scowlwoman and Rana both do and I am sure other self professed JPP marxists do as well.

Do you actually know anyone who chooses where they live based on Red/Blue nonsense?

I suspect that deep down in places you don't like to admit, you like how efficiently your red state is run.
Florida is ranked the ninth most corrupt State government, out of the 50 state governments.

Google AI:

"While Florida's population is still growing overall, the rate of growth is slowing down and the state is experiencing a decline in net domestic migration.

This means more people are leaving the state than are moving in from other parts of the US.

Several factors are contributing to this trend, including rising costs of living, especially housing, and concerns about climate change and insurance rates."

Oh I am not saying that someone says "such and such is a Blue state so I will live there"

However people do make decisions about where they based on quality of life, taxes, etc.

Clearly many JPP marxists CHOOSE to live in Red states yet espouse the policies of Blue states. You can dispute that if you wish.

As I said, I never see Jarod aka Vercua complaining about living in Florida under right wing rule. He apparently is very content and happy. Yet we hear constant stories of people fleeing Blue states.

Spin if you must

We don't really share any core values at all
and thus cannot be expected to agree on many political issues.

Conservatives believe in freedom from social responsibility.
Progressives believe that meeting social responsibility is not optional.

I know of only one myself -- our brother-in-law. He's lived in Illinois (his birth place), Indiana, Louisiana, and now Kansas. He got laid off from his job when they lived in Illinois, 13 years ago. He refused to accept any positions in "blue states" because of their gun regulations. His wife (Mr. Owl's sister) is a one-issue voter too. She is strongly anti-abortion and did not want to live in a state where it's legal. As a consequence our b.i.l. was unemployed for over a year at a time, off and on. Our favorite irony about this nonsense? Right after they moved to Kansas, the voters passed a state constitutional amendment protecting reproductive freedom. IOW they voted to support abortion. I love it.

^^ These are people who listen to too much FOX.

You are absolutely right. The interesting thing is that he's intelligent. He has an MS in History from a univ. in Illinois. But he's consumed with RW politics. The first time we met, 17 years ago, he tried to engage me in a political discussion at a family holiday gathering. I'd already been warned and demurred. He really is a good man. He is just warped by Reichwing politics. He wanted to teach history but has said that "no h.s. or college will hire me because they're all liberal and hate conservatives." Now how would they know he's conservative unless he blurts it out? Instead, his work is in non-profits. Currently he manages a classic car museum in Kansas.
