Nope, wrong again. Our crops have been picked by immigrants coming across the borders, then picking crop after crop as the ripen. Then they return home. Our southern poultry has been worked by companies that built towns to hold illegal workers.
Illegal immigration is used by contractors to get lower bids on projects. Look at almost any construction going up and you will see illegals.
Trump used them by the boatload. He used them to tear down a 5th avenue building. When Trump entered politics, he had to broom the illegals from his golf courses and hospitality. He was getting wealthy through illegals.
Where do you live that keeps you from seeing and learning about what is going on?

We'd still have LEGAL immigration, of the sort we need. What we don't need is a mass in the millions of Turd Worlders with barely a 5th grade education who are illiterate, have health issues, are often serious criminals, and in 98% of the jobs in America are unqualified to do them.
So, you think old-school "company" towns and stores are a good thing hum? Americans struck and protested for almost a century to rid themselves of those oppressive things.
So, you think that suppressing the wages of construction workers by the hire of illegals who are barely qualified, if at all, to do most construction jobs beyond simple basic labor is a good thing hum? Getting rid of them will improve the quality of construction work in America and provide good paying jobs to Americans instead.
Trump wasn't a contractor. He was a developer. He hired contractors. He didn't care or have a say in who the contractors hired to do the work. Your example is invalid.
