Kelley was one of the first rioters to breach the Capitol on January 6 after rioters broke through police lines, according to justice department documents. He then made plans to attack the FBI office in Knoxville, Tennessee, with car bombs and explosives attached to drones. He also developed a “kill list” of law enforcement officers he wanted to assassinate.
 
He was in prison when the pardon came, but had been convicted of crimes that were not part of the January 6th activity and therefore remained in prison regardless of the pardon.

The headline is misleading.

The Headline is misleading. It implies that he was freed, then committed this crime. None of that happened. Trump's pardon changed this guy's life in no way at all. He was in prison when that pardon came, and stayed there, then received a sentence for a different crime.

Anyway... I don't feel upset about this one. The guy has a life sentence, and was not set free because of this pardon.

Nah, he never got out of prison, the pardon changed nothing. He was convicted of the crime he was sentenced for yesterday before that pardon came down. He stayed in prison while awaiting sentencing.
