“WASHINGTON, D.C. — Americans have grown markedly more positive toward immigration over the past year, with the share wanting immigration reduced dropping from 55% in 2024 to 30% today. At the same time, a record-high 79% of U.S. adults say immigration is a good thing for the country.”

“The same poll finds many more Americans disapproving than approving of President Donald Trump’s handling of immigration”

“When asked if immigration is generally a good thing or bad thing for the country, a record-high 79% of U.S. adults call it a good thing; a record-low 17% see it as a bad thing.”

Because stating that Trump and MAGA pimped a young women’s tragedy for their own personal political gain? Why, it’s true, if the asshole who was responsible wasn’t an illegal immigrant they wouldn’t have given a rat’s, empathy isn’t in MAGA’s character

Wait a minute, you actually thought when asked the question people were responding just to legal immigration? That their responses to Trump’s handling of immigration meant just his dealings with already legalized immigrants? Their disdain for continuing the Wall was just as it relates to legal immigration?

Ah, no, admittedly the poll shows satisfaction with the less influx of immigrants, but it also shows a major reversal of the enthusiasm regarding immigration and Trump’s handling of immigration, as I noted, the immigration Armageddon isn’t selling as if once was

So the poll is 100% wrong? That Americans aren’t changing their views?

There are other similar polls showing the same, do you have anything to offer to invalidate the results? Or are you just regurgitating what you want to believe is true?
