Agree, the Russian economy is a mess and Putin understands clearly what awaits him and his country if he opposes a ceasefire.

President Trump means business when it involves stopping the killing.

I think Putin understands that there is no "Joe Biden" puppet of Obama who will lift the sanctions as Quid Pro did in 2021. Sanctions Trump places now will remain until Russia capitulates. It will be 12 years until a leftist has a chance of being president again. No one to rescue Putin this time. No Biden who has his back.
