Its PP who claims that, he (as usual) did not offer any exhibits. I personally do not believe the evilness of slavery can be overstated.

I know they display one of many actual child size shackles that have been preserved.

They also show many uplifting success stories of some who escaped, and an entire display of Harriett Tubman who escaped and helped many others to do so.

How can the evil of slavery be overstated? That is what PP claimed, they overstate the how bad it was.

Additionally, on the way here, many slaves were shackled together and thrown overboard in the middle of the Atlantic Ocean if the crossing became difficult, rations ran low, or if sickness broke out among the enslaved.

No one is changing representation of history however.. This Smithsonian is doing their own reevaluation and very possibly will expand the representation... Which is a good thing...

They are doing an evaluation... And will be presenting their process for research and exhibit development... With a focus on their commitment to academic integrity... So wait and see... I don't believe that it's about focusing on how bad it was... But simply expanding the historical content... For example, simply displaying one of Harriet Tubman's shawls doesn't really give the visitor a comprehensive picture of the important role she played during the time period...

She very rarely will answer direct questions, a master at rope a dope.

Its clear she knows the truth, but likes that PP is a raging angry man who fights for her unjustified disgruntled grievances. She clearly knows her anger is unjustified and what he is doing, but is so pitiful she does not care, she feels her anger is justified likely because of how badly she fucked up her life. PP said they are focusing to much on how bad slavery was. Have you seen the Tubman exhibit? There is much, much more there than just her shawl.

It's obvious that some of the general public needs to be better informed...
That being said any AA or black history museum I've ever seen very accurately represents the history of slaves being transported to America... No one is trying To change or erase that...

Thank you. This ^ ^ ^ is why the Reichtards want to erase slavery from our history. When forced to admit that it existed, they then try to diminish its horrors by claiming that slaves were taught "useful" trades and skills. Yes, they were -- for the enrichment of their owners, not for themselves. They were not allowed to own property or even tools of their trade. The women were impregnated by overseers and owners, and their children sold for cash or raised by and put to work with the other slaves.

Germany is quite open about its Nazi history. All kids are taught about the Holocaust by mandate. Germans never want to repeat that chapter of history again. It seems like MAGATs would be fine with bringing back slavery. Wouldn't it be ironic if, this time, THEY were the enslaved? Although who would want a bunch of aging relics who can barely think is beyond me.
