20 to 30something. It's not necessarily chronological age but mental. It's not important to me. It's simply an assessment. You're free to hide or lie about your education and age.How old do you think I am? And why is it important to know my age and that I be young?
In my professional life for 40 years it was part of my job to assess people for fitness for duty. Not just initially, which is usually solved with training and experience, but a continual assessment to note behavioral changes. Illness, relationship and financial issues were the most common causes. Those experiences translate well into the online world.
I read a lot of people saying "You don't know me", "You can't know me from posts" and the like, but they are only fooling themselves. Over dozens, if not hundreds of posts, it's easy to get to know a person's personality.
As with the maxim "A drunk man's words are a sober man's thoughts", anonymous forums offer the unique opportunity to see inside a person's head since the anonymity allows them to be themselves. We all have "off days" which is why the assessment should be continual across many posts and over time. Catching people in lies such as about their age or education is part of the process. JPP has fake doctors and teachers as proved by their lack of knowledge in such professions. Some are mentally ill, some are simply living a fantasy life online, but their base personality still shines through.
FWIW, I'm 69 and earned both a Psych BA and an International Relations MS. You are free to chat, ask questions, etc to assess for yourself if I'm lying or not.
