I think we are not the only beings who are watching what sin does to a planet . If. It God interfere too much Satan could claim his way never had a real chance. So God does not intefer much. I alss think God is not on the same time as we are on. What see seems like a long time to us is just a moment to him

God is not the author of any suffering...He offers comfort and hope...and is present in it with us...
 
I'm Christian myself, but prayer is more appropriate when you aren't the one capable of invoking the change. It's a tool for those who want to invoke change and goodwill rather than those who sit on their hands. The people should pray, and the president should humble himself and do something to resolve it if it's worth praying over.

It is completely liberating to be free of the idea that I have to jump through hoops to gain some sort of mythical salvation. I can and have faced all my life’s challenges just fine without the crutch of a non-existent deity.
