People already " shot " for sales.
My point to you is NOT everybody is like you and has a very good taxpayer funded " Teachers " retirement to fall back on.
For your info there ARE many people out there that DO work two jobs JUST to get by NOW and they can NOT afford Trump increasing the price of just about everything they buy to survive shotting for sales or not.
You have NO compassion for any of them all you do is think about yourself.
Write Folgers all you want it may do you some good but they have no power to remove Trumps high tariffs and people will still have to pay them or go without things they need.

What? Most of us have worked two jobs before... we've talked about this... I have plenty of compassion.... and...I found you oodles of coffee sales while you wait for the price of Folgers to go down... It's not my problem if you choose to not take my advice...

I have tons of compassion... Working to improve the lives of lower socioeconomic families has always been part of my life... It was a part of my career after all.... Actually you're the one with no compassion.... You want them to give up and cry.... And speak of them as though they aren't capable of powering through some price fluctuations... (I said "what" because you wrote that people already get "shot" for sales...;))

tariffs DO have a place and can do some good IF they are reasonable , Trumps tariffs aren't reasonable.
5 or even 10% would be reasonable but 50, 60, 75, 100% or more and not reasonable.
The point is stupid it was about $3.33 a pound last Jan and is now about $7.00 a pound and still going up an increase of over 100% in less then 10 months thanks to Trump and his high tariffs., a lot of low income working people can NOT afford increases like these and will have to cut back on things because Trump is driving up the cost of about everything they need to buy to survive.

Vietnam produces 17% of the world's coffee and has 20% tariffs . Colombia coffee has 10% tariffs. So if your brand went up too much it's time to try a different brand. Folgers isn't the only brand. There are lots of better brands of coffee. Folgers is decent coffee but Folgers are only popular because they advertise a lot and you have to pay for that advertising. There are very good coffees that cost less and are just as good or better. Here is a little know trick with coffee. to reduce bitterness put a pinch of salt in the pot. Salt binds to your bitterness receptors on your tongue. You will not taste the salt in the coffee but you coffee won't be bitter. Just use a pinch and don't over do the salt.

The bottom line is countries like Vietnam and China under cut the salaries of our American workers. I know you hate Trump but he is trying to level the playing field and give the American worker a better chance to compete. Try supporting the American worker try not complaining and maybe find a different brand of coffee. .

They can have all the sales they want it still is not going to bring prices down , Trump has made sure of that.
And NOT all his tariffs have worked through the supply chain yet.
Walmart is saying they will be increasing prices on most everything they sell soon, some as high as 45% because they can't keep eating Trumps tariffs and it is the US consumer that pays them and are being hurt by them.
And we can thank a lot of the large retailers for buying up and storing a lot of goods before Trumps tariffs took effect keeping prices down till now.

Don't you "smart shop"? The GF does. She looks for sales and has coupons for everything. So do I. Then I go to Harbor Freight.
