ICE agents have knowingly illegally assaulted and arrested US citizens. They had no court orders to do such. In fact, they have violated court orders.
The Alabama National Guard did nothing illegal. In theory, the student they protected could be argued to have violated the law by going to a "white school", but he had a court order so to enforce that you would need another court order. Even there, the Alabama National Guard was not protecting him from the police, so no violation of the law.
Illinois is an important distribution hub, and financial center. If Kurmugeon gets his way, and attacks the blue states, the red states will lose out more. The blue states could simply join Canada, leaving the red states to join Mexico or whatever.
