So let me get this straight, the MacArthur foundation is providing a grant to document the loss of funding for philosophy but aren't actually funding philosophy. Hmmm. Seems you philosophy idiots already know the finding is shrinking you can't write it down? You need a grant to write it down for you? Why wouldn't the foundation just fund philosophy? Maybe because the MacArthurs didn't make their money thinking asinine thoughts.and actually did something useful to earn it.
