However, the fake news is going to be insufferable about this result, pretending that it somehow means that Republicans are in trouble in 2026 or that "Trump is being rebuked nationally". It'll be the same insufferable lying that the fake news always does.

The correct take is: state level does not equal national level, leftists have the advantage in lower turnout scenarios, and that leftists won in leftist areas under a leftist-favorable political climate, just as expected. BOOOOOOOOORING!
