Police are investigating a woman who harassed a target employee for wearing a Charlie Kirk freedom shirt

From the link:

Employees must wear a solid red shirt with sleeves.

Hers was solid red.
Not Allowed:
Shirts with large logos

It didn't have a "logo."

logo
[ˈləʊɡəʊ, ˈlɒɡəʊ]
noun
logo (noun)
logos (plural noun)
  1. a symbol or other small design adopted by an organization to identify its products, uniform, vehicles, etc.

Thus, the shirt met Target's dress code. There was nothing about having writing or general symbols on it other than that they couldn't be offensive. "Freedom" and American flags are hardly offensive, except maybe to the radical Left.

You just posted the definition. It certainly contains symbols. They are in clear reference to an organization called Turning Point founded by Charlie Kirk. It's clearly political.

By logo, Target clearly means a product or company symbol and or name that doesn't have Target's approval. They don't want their employees wearing clothing that could be construed to endorse a product or advertise a competitor. There is clearly nothing offensive to the average person about the shirt and the stuff printed on it either. Only someone who really hates Charlie Kirk could possibly be offended by it, as that Leftist complaining Karen was.

Now, if she had on a TPUSA shirt, that would be against Target's policy.

Corporate policy is that they wear red shirts. Politics and religion is not allowed.
That's not what their corporate policy says, and I posted a link to it. So long as the shirt doesn't have a logo--eg., a product or company advertisement etc., it can be worn if it is not considered "offensive." I'd say a shirt that has American flags and the word freedom meets that, even if now deceased Charlie Kirk's name is on it.

Now, if it were a TPUSA shirt I'd say it doesn't meet their dress code as that would be a "logo."

It still says solid red. As in only one color.

But the shirt did have the turning point logo on it. It's not allowed. Management should have fired her on the spot.

This woman broke with the dress code to flaunt her beliefs. Imagine if the employee had been wearing a t-shirt portraying some liberal. Magas would be calling for her head on a pike.
No I would not. In fact I have eaten at a restaurant where the waitress was wearing a Communist revolutionary's face on the T Shirt and I tipped her because she did a good job. For the most part this kind of virtue signaling is a Leftist thing.
