I had no friends present at Jan 6. It is telling that you circle back to that one event, predictably, as it is the only one the Left has to argue with when it comes to their own incessant rioting.
Yes, Babbitt was committing a crime. Did that justify her being shot? No.
Pretti was committing a violent crime at the time he was shot. He was actively resisting arrest and was clearly armed with a firearm.
He was being placed under arrest. The ICE officers were clearly going to arrest him. There is no, none, ZERO, comparison to the Rittenhouse incident in that.
He resisted arrest. I don't know if he was pepper sprayed or his weapon was taken. I'd expect officers trained to fire in bursts of 2 or 3 rounds to fire 2 or 3 rounds out of habit and training once they decided to fire. Thus, how you get 10 rounds fired.
That's clearly not what the officers thought. That's the rub. Pretti was armed and approaching the officers. He fucked up in doing so. Events went south for him PDQ.
I haven't seen that. It is also likely that all officers present didn't know that in the few seconds involved in that struggle.
I have, but you really can't see everything clearly in it and it doesn't give you the perspective of what each officer present saw going on.

He had no ID on him. In Minnesota you must be licensed and carry an ID on you to carry a gun. Rittenhouse did not fight with the police. The long gun that Rittenhouse was carrying did not require a license for him to carry. Rittenhouse was legal and Preti was not.
