Let me make my position clear here.
Pretti had every legal right to carry a pistol. I don't and won't say he didn't.
That said, it was also Pretti who decided, and not just once either we now know, engage with law enforcement in a violent manner. We know for certain that he struggled with and resisted arrest at least twice. The first time he got away with it (the Park Ave and E 36th St incident with him kicking out the taillight of an ICE vehicle). I doubt ICE fully arrested and booked him since he was right back out on the street to resume violent protesting.
That emboldened him to do it again without doubt because he did do it again. The second time, he struggled with the law enforcement officers, just like the first time, but the results were different. Because Pretti chose to bring a firearm with him the officers reacted differently on seeing that weapon and shot him dead. Yes, confusion in the middle of a violent fight with a criminal can make that happen, AND IT DID.
Pretti chose to carry a firearm. Pretti chose to engage the officers at close range. Pretti chose to resist arrest. Pretti in a word FUCKED UP. Had Pretti NOT chosen those risky behaviors, he wouldn't have been shot and killed, but he did and he did it repeatedly. What happened was overwhelmingly Pretti's fault. And, yes, he had a legal right to carry. He didn't have a legal right to get violent with law enforcement and he got killed for doing exactly that.
Yes, they are, now Trump is suing the IRS for releasing his tax records.
Yeah - it's the "engage in law enforcement in a violent manner" that I can't accept Terry. The man was trying to help a woman being beat up by border thugs, Pretti was not a threat his weapon was NOT on his person, he never reached for it. So "violent" agree to disagree man.
Also, many of the J6'ers were carrying Terry. And even if they weren't they were carrying other weapons. By your logic, the cops who they were beating should have shot more of them.
DC cops showed incredible restraint - only one jackass killed. I don't know how many have died at the hands of DHS, Terry but it's way more than 2. Wait for the news about what's happening in trump's concentration camps at home and abroad.
So, we're NEVER going to agree about Pretti's actions and motives, Terry. I'm even willing to accept you actually believe what you're saying. In my opinion, you're just way wrong!

There's lots of social expectations and traditions we didn't ask for, but we choose to honor anyway as a professional and social courtesy.
An illegal Slovenian immigrant and public figure like Malaria has a special obligation to perform the basic American social expectations and traditions associated with the office of the first lady.
She had a choice to tell Donald not to run for president. For every man that became president, there are probably 100 who seriously thought about running but chose not to because it was extremely unappealing to their family.
