The great blizzards of 2026

Who gives a shit about who drives well on snow and ice and who doesn't. I Dont. I only care about how myself, family, other loved ones and friends do. Other that that people will either learn on their own or not,....up to them. None of my concern. HOPEFULLY they learn,....if not that's on them.

All I know is this.........I can drive thru damn near anything thrown at me. Not because I want to,...but because I HAD to learn, either that or move....LOL I can get thru just about anything if I'm in a Car, truck, four wheel drive, front wheel drive, real wheel drive,....doesn't matter. I go thru almost everything. ALMOST being the key word,...some shit you just aren't getting thru no matter how much experience you have.

Don't believe me? So here's what you do even if you are in a little rear wheel drive. First,...throw a damn snow shovel in the back. Then,....throw some sand tubes in the back too,...try to get them right over the back tires to put weight on those tires for better grip. Also,........throw a good sized bag of cat litter in the back too......the grittyness is great for getting out. Last,...if you do get stuck...................get that vehicle rocking back and forth between D and R.......use that momentum like a pendulum. You'll get out........ ;) oh,....and if you don't know what Im talking about here.........your fucked anyway. So just carry a cell phone with you to call a tow truck instead,
Or get studded snow tires... Those aren't a thing anymore are they? The pair I had in 1973-75 worked on my little rear wheel drive car amazing.

No,...not so much. ALL WEATHER tires,....and a 4x4. Speaking of that......I do need to put chains on my snow blower tires though,....those tires were slipping like a drunk on a Saturday night yesterday....LOL

Good advice do it here in the western NY snow belt all the time.

Totally unneeded machine.
Totally NEEDED machine. Sidewalks,...walkways, in city driveways that you cant get in with a personal plow truck,...ect ect. For those times when the plow comes thru and the end of your driveway is quite literally almost 4 feet high at the end because those trucks come whipping thru with that angled blade and plow you in...

Mine generally starts on 1 pull,...sometimes if it has been super cold I have to plug in and use the electric start,...but not much.

When I was a high school kid we used to shovel peoples roofs for extra money. We used the snow scoops. THAT is some frikkin WORK!!!

Whats so disgusting about roofs is you have to go thru all the work getting it off the roof,.......THEN climb down and get it all out of the way of any walks and entries! And its like 3 feet or more high from all the snow up there! Heart attack city! LOL

Yep......this why I treat it like a baby. Premium gas ALWAYS, good plug, stabil in at end of season or drain....
Stabilize then run it dry. That is what I do with my generator if I run it on gasoline. Normally I just run it on natural gas though. Ethanol in gasoline is the devil for small engines.
