Because all humans are made in the image of God…

I see history clearly. "Race" is in quotes in my post for a reason.
Agreed. As all educated adults already know, there's no such thing as "race", only cultures.

An example is Barack Obama; his lineage is of primarily European descent but he considers himself "black". As the nation becomes more blended, such terms will become more quaint than divisive.

Americans, IMO, spend about the first 30 years of their lives garnering a sense of identity. Having a history of where they came from is part of that. Mine is pretty blended but primarily European albeit nations that were traditional enemies for centuries. I had multiple ancestors who fought on both sides of the Civil War but were mostly dirt farmers. In the 20th century, many served in the military although, due to generational age differences, I don't know of any that served in WWII (too old or too young); just WWI, Korea and Vietnam.

Native Americans and those descended from slaves had their identity stripped from them. No one should begrudge them rebuilding the history of their ancestors.

where are you on race checkboxes on applications?

still a necessary evil?

are we gonna have to talked about race checkboxes on applications again?

pepperidge farm remembers.

don't rewoke again damo, please.

it would destroy me.
That's a vestige of both racism and the government attempts to eliminate racism. I also put "Other" or "prefer not to answer".

I'd prefer Congress start eliminating them since we can't eliminate racism by institutionalizing racism. Same goes for Affirmative Action when applied to "race".

Better, IMO, is to establish a system of ensuring all American kids have access to a quality education. Unfortunately, over the past 30 years, as more money shifted away from the Middle Class, quality education has become a province of the rich.

congress doesn't have to do it.

it should already be handled under the civil rights.

you;re so full of shit your eyes are brown.

The Bible doesn't say that all Humans were made in the image of God,...it says that ADAM was. Why cant people actually READ anymore? Furthermore,.....the Bible also clearly says that the watchers " fallen angels" has sex with Human women who bore them children who were called Nephilim and many of those were GIANTS. So yeah,....they SURELY were not in the image of God.

Did I??? Link or you are lying AGAIN.
Sure. But as always the proof you get proves you are the liar.

You spent a ton of time in that thread citing the Ohio study as proof of your arguments and I quoted showing it was the exact opposite of what you said.

You don't think that the 42% of deceased drivers in Ohio car wrecks hurt anyone but themselves?

Do you think alcohol ONLY hurts the user?

How many times have we heard THC is like alcohol?

AI Summary:

The Ohio study specifically includes the period both before and after Ohio legalized recreational cannabis. ACS

Here are the relevant timing details:

  • The study period was January 2019 to September 2024, per the ACS summary. ACS
  • Ohio legalized recreational cannabis via Issue 2 on November 7, 2023, and the law took effect December 7, 2023. ohioafp.org+2The Washington Post+2
  • The study’s authors explicitly state that the 41.9% THC-positive rate was “unaffected by the state’s legalization … during the study period.” ACS

Does the Study Claim Causation?

  • No — the study does not claim or prove that THC caused the crashes.
    • It's an observational, postmortem toxicology analysis.
The study was reported as an abstract (ACS Clinical Congress), and as of release, it had not yet undergone full peer review. ACS

how about affirmative action when applied to "gender", simp?

Nor was the world created in six DAYS,....it was created in 6 THOUSAND years IMO.

2 Peter 3:8

"But, beloved, be not ignorant of this one thing, that one day is with the Lord as a thousand years, and a thousand years as one day."

what can we do about individual difference?

teachers end up dumbing down education to and socially promoting to keep their images looking good. and to hide the reality of individual difference for political reasons.

consequently public education should be completey rethought before more funding is allotted.

but holding off on merit based hiring until we fix reality is insane.

If he were black, yes. In this case it insults only Trump as he is not black. Historically black people have been called "apes" or "monkeys" by racists, thus when any black person is portrayed as a monkey it evokes that historical context. Ignoring the context and pretending that calling Trump a monkey or calling any black person a monkey is the same is just an attempt to whitewash the historical context.

You picture say, George Clooney as a monkey, it will not evoke any historical context of white people being called monkeys, it will only insult George Clooney. You do it with Whoopi Goldberg and you are insulting an entire "race" because of context.
We have established that all racist tropes start with an initial insult. So calling Trump an orangutan is a racist trope
