I probably wouldn't want to go either. But I would go out of respect for the office and country. Sometimes it's proper to be reverent.

These guys are having fun.... This is all historic , and they're basking in the glow.... The girls are busy... As you know , the makeup of the teams are completely different... Not just the man's and the women's teams.. You know that , and I know that , but the people whining apparently don't... When you barf a picture of a gold medal team holding Johnny's jersey and his children , you're pretty much completely clueless... Or very very damaged... Or both...

Yes.

In normal times, what you say is correct and is why no 'team' would turn down the invite, and offer up the laughable 'scheduling conflict' as the reason.

In this time however showing reverence for Trump and his Admin would be improper, unless you truly supported their despicable actions against law and order and against the Constitution.

In this case, the Pedophile President insulted the team.

Had Trump said "I'm inviting the ladies.....you know how much I love the ladies. I guess I'll have to invite the men too", would it be surprising if the men's team declined the invite?
