Noom FIRED, thank GOD!

Actually, she's being promoted....
It is not a promotion at all.

No — it is not a promotion. It is a reassignment following her removal as Secretary of Homeland Security. The new role, Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, is less powerful, less senior, and less defined than leading DHS.

What Actually Happened

  • President Trump fired Kristi Noem as Secretary of Homeland Security — the first Cabinet member removed in his second term.
  • He then appointed her as Special Envoy for the Shield of the Americas, a new initiative focused on Western Hemisphere security, migration, and cartel disruption.
  • The administration has not defined clear duties for the envoy role, and special envoys generally hold advisory or diplomatic positions, not executive authority.

📉 Why It’s Not a Promotion

Here’s the functional comparison:
RoleRank & AuthorityScopeNotes
Secretary of Homeland SecurityCabinet-level, Senate-confirmed; runs a massive federal departmentImmigration, cybersecurity, FEMA, border security, counterterrorismOne of the most powerful domestic security posts
Special Envoy for the Shield of the AmericasAppointed, not Senate-confirmed; advisory/diplomaticRegional cooperation, migration, cartel issuesDuties unclear; initiative newly created; no operational command

The shift is widely described as a reassignment after ouster, not an upward move.

🧭 Bottom Line

Noem’s new position is a face‑saving soft landing, not a promotion. She lost a Cabinet post with real authority and was moved into a newly invented envoy role with undefined responsibilities.

A huge demotion, you will never hear much about her anymore. She is being hidden away.

Actually, she's being promoted....
I was wondering if anyone was dumb enough to fall for that and thought no one would be, so you are a real treat...

Her dressing up in paramilitary costuming and posing with weapons always reminds me of the has-been, fake Alaskan $arah Palin, and her faux rugged outdoorswoman schtick. They appeal to weak men, usually gun-humpers, who dream of being able to easily dominate them so they look like alpha males, which they are not. lol
She's facing some serious charges for misuse of public funds. Trump is not happy with her and will most certainly throw her under the bus to save his own ass.
