Most of them are employed but make too little to afford private insurance, and don't have it offered through their employers Applicants are rigorously screened by state employees in the agencies that administer the programs. They have access to the applicants' social security earnings records. The applicant must supply other documentation, including citizenship status, address, rent, utilities, number of family members and their social security numbers. Contrary to MAGAT hater belief, it is quite difficult to qualify for most public assistance programs.
MAGATs would rather their tax dollars go for missiles to blow up schools full of Muslim children, than to provide a meal or a medical checkup to a low-income American child. Shame on you all.
