Way back in the 1980s... I used to see this ad in my magazines...

I had the x ray glasses. What a disappointment! Instead of seeing the neighbor girls titties all I saw was a generic picture of bones in someones hand! I got to see her titties anyway a couple years later,....but STILL!

My sea monkeys ad was from the early mid 70's though. Same for the x ray glasses,.....and the hypnotism ring! And the giant bag of plastic army men that looked like it was made in some guys garage!

Wanna see the best Christmas Gift EVER? I wanted it so bad,....circled it in a big red marker in the Christmas catalog from Sears. Got it too. BTW.....you would probably have to be over 60 to know what Im even talking about with the catalogs....

I think I got it in about 1973.

That's kinda lame, really. Limited by a vacuum cord.
Nowadays you can add battery power and now that I have the idea I could seriously improve his design. Weak long stretch to the nose would stop it, need to be able to steer... Think of using the huge fans like on a bayou air boat... Shoot... Nowadays I might even add a gas engine... but regardless it would have been fun in the 80s... even limited by the cord and scootching around with your feet.

People have made human-carrying drone-type things. Been noticing the little micro-boats, too.
If that kind of tech was around when I was a kid, I would have been all over it.
Used to build rafts n stuff.
