Trump losing support from core supporters as approval drops to record low in new polling​

President Trump’s net approval dropped to a new low in this week’s YouGov/The Economist poll, fueled by declining support from the president’s core backers.

The latest survey shows Trump’s net approval sinking to -23 points — with 35 percent of Americans approving and 58 percent disapproving of Trump’s handling of the presidency.

That marks a notable decline from the net approval of -18 points last week, net -19 points the week before and net -15 points a week earlier. The net approval is also markedly lower than former President Biden’s net -6 percentage point approval at this point in his presidency and Trump’s net -11 percentage point approval at this point in his first term.

Almost every Republican posting on this board has defended and supported absolutely everything Trump has said, written, or done. They would rather take a flogging than to write anything critical of their bloated Messiah.

You can't blame the Democratic party for your free choice to vote three times to nominate an incompetent sleaze bag like Trump.

Your party had ten years and numerous opportunities to ditch Trump and nominate a conservative with better character and qualifications. But at each opportunity your party decided they just couldn't stop worshipping Trump.

His MAGA followers are too stupid to see what he is doing and will always believe his many lies and stand behind him till their death.
It is some of the Republicans that see what is happening and independents that use to support him that are turning on him now.
We can only hope more of them wake up and see what is going on.

According to this his best approval rating is 45% and his disapproval rating is 49%.
