Olbermann Suspended for being a HACK LIBERAL!

Olbermann’s Replacement? Wait for It…

Chris Hayes, tapped Friday by MSNBC to fill in for the indefinitely suspended Keith Olbermann as host of the prime-time political show “Countdown,” gave money to two Democratic campaigns in recent years. Now, following that disclosure, MSNBC says Mr. Hayes won’t get the gig after all.

Mr. Hayes, editor of The Nation, a liberal magazine, made a series of donations to Josh Segall, an Alabama Democrat, who ran for Congress in 2008 and considered running in the Democratic primary for this election. Mr. Hayes donated $1,500 to Mr. Segall in 2008 and $250 in December 2009, according to Federal Election Commission records.

The Prozac must be flying off the shelf in LibtardLand, without Olbermann on TV.

I assume that journalists who choose to work for an employer that restricts their right to donate to political causes know about this policy and have agreed to abide by it.

So if they violate it, they can be disciplined by their employer.

Olberman was clearly in violation.

End of story.

In other words when faced with the facts you asked for you resort to neener-neener-neener...

Facts? Isn't it a FACT that if Olbermann is a HACK for giving to Democrats, THEN New Corp, Hannity, Cavuto or anyone at Fox is ALSO a hack if they gave to EITHER party?

If that is not a fact, then you need to resort to neener-neener-neener

Has anyone ever made any bones about Olbermann being one of the most partisan commentators out there?

What's the news here?

Dixie's headline is wrong. I don't think anyone would think much different of Olbermann if he had or hadn't given donations to Democratic politicians. It obviously made news because it violated MSNBC rules and he was suspended.

What is News Corp's policy with regards to campaign or party donations? News Corp has given to both party's and in fact supported Hillary Clinton in her run for senator. Second I have never called Olbermann a hack. You demanded a link I gave 2...all you could do in return is neener neener.

Personally I think Olbermanns being punished for his position on Net Neutrality which is in direct conflict of Comcasts position...soon to be Olberman's new boss.

What links? And all you could return is another of your neg reps. At least this time it wasn't 3 in 50 minutes, an obvious symptom of obsession.

Equality, rightly understood as our founding fathers understood it, leads to liberty and to the emancipation of creative differences; wrongly understood, as it has been so tragically in our time, it leads first to conformity and then to despotism.

why do liberals always whine about fox news?

I heard a retired CIA agent whose expertise was the old Soviet Union and the Eastern Bloc countries say the level of propaganda from Fox News is the same as what used to come out of Pravda.

The only difference IMO, the Russian people knew Pravda was propaganda.

why do liberals always whine about fox news?

I can't claim to be a 'liberal" but from my experience of Fox News i can understand why people would complain about it, as it seems to consist mainly of hyperbolic statements about Communists in America and adverts for books the staff have written.

Before anyone chimes in about MSNBC, i haven't seen any of that. I've watched CNN for a few minutes but that was so bad i chose life rather than slash my own wrists.

Anyway, to get back to the point, i assume people whine about Fox because it is basically a propaganda machine devoted, seemingly entirely, to the expansion of stupidity.
