We've gotta stand with our North Korean allies

LOL

It's always so predictable what side uber-hacks like Yurtsie & tinfoil are going to come down on.

How did I know Yurtsie was going to rush in to defend a Republican?

i defend dems and repubs against meadowmuffins....you should learn from me and not be such a partisan hack onceler....really, use this holiday to put aside your partisan bickering

You should spread the word (or this cut & paste) with your fellow righties. Because all they use is 57 states.

And do you understand the irony of a die-hard Bush supporter even beginning a conversation about gaffes & verbal miscues? I can take your list above & quadruple it. Know that.

And "Bush didn't hang the banner" is pathetic apologism, even for you...
Oh, we have lots of 'em sonny,...its just that the 57 states is the one that really shows what an asshole he is....
You want more....?

1...When introducing his running mate, Obama said, "So let me introduce to you the next president - the next vice president of the US of America, Joe Biden."

2...How odd, Barack Obama calls the U.S. Senate Banking Committee, "my committee".

3..."There's a lot of -- I don't know what the term is in Austrian -- wheeling and dealing " (No such thing as an "Austrian" language)

4..."I had an uncle who was one of the, um, who was part of the first American troops to go into Auschwitz and liberate the concentration camps. And the story in our family is that when he came home he just went up in the attic and he didn't leave the house for six months."
--Barack Obama, Memorial Day speech, Las Cruces, NM.
That’s interesting, considering his mother was an only child.

I could go on, but you pinheads won't get the message anyway.

all you got is the Sarah Palin hate syndrome...

You see, we understand that everyone mis-speaks and its no big deal....its only you democratic pinheads that carry on like morons every time it involves a republican and completely ignore the same gaffs from your own....

Incidentally, its of no matter who hung the banner....that ship was coming home and I've spent enough time in the Navy to KNOW that what was meant was "thats ships mission was accomplished"....and it had nothing to do with the rest of the occupation....a mission is not an entire war...only desperate pinheads make a mountain out of an anthill for imaginary political gain.......

Don't forget the favorite of favorites...

"On this Memorial Day, as our nation honors its unbroken line of fallen heroes -- and I see many of them in the audience here today -- our sense of patriotism is particularly strong."

Translation: it's okay for Yurtsie, bravo & Dix to be right-wing koolaid guzzlers on Thanksgiving, but Onceler should be more magnanimous.

I ain't having any of it. You 3 are beyond hackworthy. You're hacks among hacks.

That might make sense if she hadn't been speaking about the evils of North Korea for two paragraphs before the mispeak.

Nothing says "I'm a hack" like not listening to what is supposed to be a negative piece because a republican speaks in it... even with the attempt to take it out of context it is an obvious mispeak. If this is the best you can do, you aren't trying very hard.

You have rather missed my point I think. Her error has nothing whatever to do with context. It has to do with either total ignorance or the inability to speak a simple sentence. 'We support North Korea' is not, never has been and I doubt will ever be classified as a tongue twister. There is nothing difficult in the pronunciation, in the sentence formation or the vocabulary.
Despite the combined efforts of the brain dead right, this cannot be spun. Sorry, I know Americans are past masters at spinning, but on this occasion you must admit that the woman failed. And that would be the case whether she be a Republican, a Democrat or a creature from the black lagoon.
Note: The fact that Bush couldn't form a sentence or that Obama has screwed up have absolutely no bearing on this.

amazing, you couldn't put your partisan hackery and bickering away from one day....i've offered, twice now, for you to end the partisan crap and have rational discussions with...and not surprisingly, you disappoint each and everytime...

nothing i said today could even remotely be considered hack, i've hacked before occasionally, but you just couldn't put the partisan bickering away for one day...

too bad, it would be nice to see you try not to be so hackish, even for one day

Kinda sad a sitting president sees dead people in his audience, but then who would listen to him but Democrats...they could be mistaken for dead people,,,,,then he could call them
CORPSE MEN....like the dunce he is.

and that is relevant why precisely? Or did you not understand my final point?

Its unbelievable that the Commander In Chief of the US Armed Forces calls a Corpsman....a corpse man...not once, not twice, not three times, but he continued to mis-pronounce a common simple word over and over.........commander in chief my ass.....and even though the media gives him a pass because hes a Democrat, he is still an embarrassing joke.:palm:
So....
Really pinhead....just go "sharpen your guns"

You must be very happy in you own particular little world of ignorance. By all means debate, by all means put forward an argument but please, jolly jack, please try to understand just a little sarcasm and please read what you are trying to argue against.

What I'm pointing out, LOUD & CLEAR, is the double standard used by liberal pinheads when dealing with simple human mistakes made by Republicans and Democrats....and you're obviously not getting it....
The pinhead obsession with Sarah Palin can only be described as incredible....

Obama gets a pass when he mis-speaks while Palin gets as bashed over and over by not only pinheads on these innocuous websites but on main stream media and national TV programs like SNL, Letterman, Stewart, the View, Leno and many others..... substituting North for South in ONE instance gets headlines, while saying corpseman instead of corpsman, over and over, literally gets a pass.....so in closing ....FU!

You called Obama a "nitwit" for the 57 states gaffe, and have had it in your signature for ages.

For double standards, you really just need to look in the mirror, bravs...

This is hilarious, btw, considering your first comment to me on the thread.

Nice "offer." You really have no self-awareness whatsoever.

And you're a hack.

It is simply a misspeak. They happen all the time, and she corrected when prompted, kinda like Obama and his misspeak when he spoke of his "Muslim faith" and was prompted by the interviewer to correct.

You know, this one:

It's silly to take simple misspeak and turn it into something more. There are plenty of examples that don't need deliberate disingenuity to "believe". It is a simple misspeak, not even one of the funnier ones, she had clearly noted that N. Korea was "bad" for about a minute and a half before making it. It's like taking the interview out of context to maintain the Obama "really is Muslim"... It's for fools and those who don't pay attention, not fare for such as pay attention like posters here.

Yeah, but its a doozie.....Most second graders know how many states there are and here is the leader of the Democratic party talking stupid....

and then he goes on to say he has ONE more state to visit and names two........Alaska A N D Hawaii.....

But I agree ----its is sad to have a nitwit as your leader.....thank God we Conservatives never had to experience that disgrace....

You're so freaking clueless.

"The actual intent behind Senator Obama's misstatement is easy to discern without the need to invoke an obscure international organization. He was trying to express the thought that in all the time he had spent on the campaign trail so far in 2007-08, he had visited all (48) of the states in the continental U.S. save for one (i.e., "one left to go," excluding Alaska and Hawaii), but in his weariness he slipped up and started off with "fifty" instead of "forty." (Note the long pause in the video clip between the words "fifty" and "seven.")"

Just as the intent in Palin's statement here was easily determined. It was a misspeak. When other less easily dismissed examples exist why attempt to fit this square peg into a round hole?

Ah, but Bush isn't running for any public office, this thread is about Sarah Palin. Remember? And... Bush DIDN'T hang the banner! It's kind of a 'hard sell' to attribute a gaffe to someone who didn't make it. Not an apology, just common fucking sense... of course, look at who we're talking to here!

I tried to post the list of Biden gaffes, and I got a message that Damo's server couldn't handle a post that long.

I guess your point is that bush didn't get up on the ladder and pound the nails, because sure as shootin' the WH made the banner.

"...White House staff members made the banner, and it was hung by the U.S. Navy personnel.

According to John Dickerson of Time magazine, the White House later conceded that they actually hung the banner but still insists it had been done at the request of the crew members."
