I'm claiming your a birther because you're a shameless apologist for birthers. I can't think of anyone aside from a hardcore birther who would make an argument that they only care about the sanctity of the Constitution.

How embarassing. You should stop trying to cover it up & let your birther flag fly, imo....

If I'm being "so dishonest" it shouldn't be too tough to come up with a list of white presidents from whom birth certificates were demanded and those that complied with the demands.

Dude, all you have to look at is his opponent in 2008. The same questions were asked, one guy actually subpoenaed the document, some dude in New Hampshire he was denied because he served the subpoena "improperly". Eventually the document was found and put online, given to Hannity if I remember correctly.

this issue arose duing the campaign, its dishonest to claim it arose simply because he became president...the issue arose for BOTH candidates

People constantly and mistakenly believe that because it is a Federal position that the election is a Federal election. It isn't. It is 51 separate elections each with their own Secretary of State whose job it is to ensure eligibility before setting candidates on the ballot. Too often people give them a pass, they assume that the parties themselves check for eligibility, etc. It isn't their job. The people whose job it was to check were MIA during the last election and nobody seems to be holding their feet to the fire. It's like civics classes never existed...

Arizona passed a law that actually requires them to do the job they were hired to do, and in this case will require a full birth certificate to get on their ballot. It will be interesting to see what happens.

I don't need to write to anybody because I don't believe Obama pulled the wool over 621,847,954 American eyes in order to "steal" the presidency.

Regarding your point about the SOSs, however, why hasn't this been done already, if it's such an issue with some people? Why hasn't a large group of political heavyweights gotten together and filed a lawsuit, like some state AGs did to try and overturn health care?

Just guessing it's because the vast majority of the population thinks the system in place works, and that birthers are unbalanced.
