Gotta seriously disagree with the prediction about Ireland (WTF?). They believe that because Ireland's unaffiliated percentage jumped 400% (0.4 to 4.2) from 1961-2006 that it represents a huge trend. Its the fucking postmodern era for crying out loud - of course the rate spiked, even for a country like Ireland!! Heaven, I believe Ireland even has abortion outlawed right now. If they make such lousy inferences with Ireland, what did they get wrong about the others, and why aren't places like France and Belgium on the list? But for the fact that the others are generally accepted as basket-cases...
atheists fear everyone.....
in your world, in the educated world athiest don't fear but mock religion.
first off fuck you junior, secondly bachelors in accounting and an MBA from Loyola 3.88. No don't be a pussy and say you can't put up your numbers. If you can beat a graduate degree with a 3.88 good on ya.Topspin, what university did you attend? As often as you brag about it, I'm led to believe that you either didn't attend at all, or you did poorly because you were stoned all the time. I'm going to say around a 1.3 GPA, rounded off nicely with that C in cultural geography. The reason I say this is because most people here probably have at least their bachelors degree, but they don't go around shouting it from the rooftops as if it's a big fucking deal. Just sayin'.
Why do some people view this trend as a positive move? Religion can be a highly stabilizing factor in a society.

Most religions are so 'stabilising' they impede progress.
Give me progress every time.
